Getting Wood

After Jesse's accident his productivity came to a screeching halt.  He had planned the very next week to spend every day collecting free wood that was offered to us.  He just had to set aside the time to go get it.

His motorcycle accident kept him from doing anything about our need for wood so we could heat our home this winter.

I put out the message on FaceBook that we needed wood.  A couple of our motorcycle friends gathered some of their friends, along with my brother, my son and two of my neighbors, and they delivered 4 pickup truck loads of fire wood.  

What an amazing gift.  Thank you Flat Head Tom, Chopper Deb and company.  Also my brother David, my son Nate and my neighbors Mark and Dave.  

Cooper of course had to supervise.  He saw those trucks full of wood and REALLY wanted to get up there and check it all out.

Lazy Time After Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving was a very nice, quiet day.  Lisa and Buffy came for two nights.  My son, his girlfriend and her son came.  Jesse ate with his leg perched up on pillows in the living room.  What a nice meal.

After my son left it was time for quiet, tired, nappy time.  Jesse, me, Lisa, Cooper and Buffy were ready... 

We all laid on my big huge sofa and Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Hospital Food

Hospital food isn't very good.  Jesse was really hungry by the time they decided to let him eat.  They brought him a couple sandwiches.  He was glad to eat them.  One of the sandwiches was turkey.  I took some of the meat out of the sandwich and added it to Cooper's dinner the way he likes it.  

He didn't seem to mind the hospital turkey.  He was really glad to eat.
