There was a shoe store on the cape that gave someone a hard time for coming in with a service dog.
Sometimes we go in to try to peacefully educate people of the ADA law requiring all establishments to allow service dogs in their establishments.
There are too many places of business who don’t understand the law around a service dog.
With so many veterans coming home from war with PTSD, who benefit from a well trained service dog, all places of business should know the law.
People with PTSD benefit from having a service dog to make their way in the world rather than shutting themselves into their home.
My wish is that people would understand the sacrifice our combat veterans have made.
They have lived through, and participated in war that will for ever be in their memory.
These memories are hard to live with, and some commit suicide because they CAN’T live with it. It’s THAT bad. So if they want to have a dog, I think its our duty to understand the law.
