Gold Star Family Memorial Dedication

We were invited to take part in a memorial that was being dedicated to the Gold Star families. 

These are families who have lost a loved one in war.

You can see Cooper sitting right next to me on the left of the memorial

We are so honored to be able to hold steady with our American flag flying in the breeze while our bodies ache from standing still for over an hour.

Cooper was great through the whole ceremony.  He either sat or laid next to me in the flag line.
