So… we went on a run an hour from home on a day when there was a little chance of rain, but worth the chance.
The rain hit and there was a LOT of it while all 100+ bikes were on the road.
Cooper was on my bike and it was raining so much my boots were full of water.
None of us wore rain gear so we were drenched to the skin.
A bunch of people pulled out of the ride for one reason or another… not a good enough rider to ride in heavy rain, couldn’t see, bikes were stalling…
We had to get Cooper out of the rain. We were cold and he needed to get warm so we went to a Dunkin Donuts to change into dry clothes. He was wet to the skin despite the jacket he was wearing.
He was shivering and needed to be dry… SO… I took him into the bathroom and dried him under the hand drier. SAVE!!!
We wore rain gear from that point on and got home in 40 minutes (still raining).
