Jesse's group, Veterans Brotherhood, participated in a benefit ride to help the survivors and families of 9-11. Cooper and I rode with them. There were between 250 and 300 bikes on this ride I think.
They had a short ceremony at the beginning of the ride. Cooper was told to sit quietly. At the end, they shot guns in salute and the bag pipes played. Cooper jumped but didn't bark. He sat quietly in the shadow of the veteran in front of him. It was a chilly day to ride but to sit in the sun with his sweat shirt on was too warm.
He was the perfect pup during that ceremony. I never had to put his leash on. He did exactly as he was told. THEN when it was time to ride, he perked up and had a bounce to his step as we walked to our bikes. He was happy to go! One last pee and we were OFF!!!
