Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Ice Cream With Logan, Lucas and Kyra!

My daughter was in the neighborhood and I had nothing to do, so I asked her if she had time to go get ice cream before she went home.  SHE DID! So that's what we did.

Desiree's favorite place for ice cream is Peaceful Meadows in Whitman.  This could be because I was there almost weekly when I was pregnant with her.  Do you think?

I took my bike and Cooper and I followed her and the kids in her van.  Of course, when we got there I heard someone say, "There's Cooper!" from across the parking lot.  Yup, someone we know was there with his wife and kids and recognized Cooper right away.

We got our ice creams, Cooper had his too.  We ate by the fence where the cows are.  Now that Cooper has been up close and personal with a whole herd of cows, they don't really scare him as much as before.  He hung around with the kids as a cow approached.  VERY cool to see him so much calmer around the cow.

Cooper was really interested in all the people who were interested in the cows.  He was great with the crowds and was perfectly well behaved.  This was supposed to be a quick trip but between the attention on Cooper and the cows, we were there for over an hour and a half.

I was glad to get home before dark.  With no jacket, it cools off quite a bit after the sun goes down.  Cooper was happy to be home too.  I think he likes our new place.
