A Visit With Shorty

We had a visit from some friends the other day.  They brought a visitor for Cooper.  This is Cooper's friend Shorty.  He's a great pal.  Cooper would have liked to play, but Shorty wanted sniff the new yard.  

Apparently dogs have this game they like to play.  It seems that all the dogs that visit play this game.  This day, Shorty was the opponent.   

The game went as follows.  Cooper followed Shorty, sniffing everywhere Shorty peed, then peeing on where Shorty peed, for Shorty to then go  back and sniff where Cooper peed.  It's quite an interesting game to watch.  It's hard not to laugh at them.  I guess the important thing is that THEY understand the rules of this game.  They enjoyed the game for about the whole time they were visiting. 

Cooper was pooped at the end of the visit.  He was happily napping within a half hour from their departure.  What a nice day for us all.
