The Wounded Vet Ride raised over $80,000. There were 1,400 motorcycles at this event. Every participant paid their entry fee for the privilege of participating and paying respect to our wounded veterans for their service of our country.
To take part in something like this really opens your eyes. These soldier come home with devastating injuries to their bodies, hearts and souls. Some soldiers pay for our freedom with their lives. I'm forever thankful and respectful of them for their sacrifices.
Here are a couple pictures of me and Cooper as we met with a group who was also riding to Boston together.
Unfortunately, my bike broke down and I was unable to go on the 30 mile guided ride with the other 1,400 bikes. My bike and one other broke down with dead batteries. I'm glad to have paid the entry fee however, and I fully intend to participate in this ride again next year WITH A CHARGED BATTERY.
