People frequently ask me what Cooper does to help me stop my anxiety attacks. I don't really have an answer to that. I think it's because having him with me puts me in the care-taker roll. When I'm caring for someone else I remain occupied almost all the time. I don't think much about anything that may cause me to feel anxiety.
When I do have an anxiety attack, this is what Cooper does. At this point, I've already taken my medication to help me. The medication makes me tired.
Cooper can tell I need him. He comes to me to comfort me until I feel better.
