Thursday: 206 miles.
Watching the weather made me realize I had better get moving if I don't want to be soaked all day. I had a cup of coffee as I packed the bike. Cooper had his breakfast and went out to pee then followed me all over the place as I got ready to go.
We were on our way by about 8 am. Gas and go. I didn't even eat. No time. The storm was on us.
By the time we got into CT it had begun to drizzle. I didn't stop to put rain gear on. I just wanted to get home. The rain picked up. It got hard to see the road. I just kept the car in front of me in my vision and rode next to the white line. I didn't stop for fear I would be hit. No over pass worth stopping under, and I just wanted to keep going. So I did.
The rain stopped in about 20 minutes. We were wet, but soon dried off while we continued riding.
When I got close to home, Cooper recognized the roads and stood up, happy to watch our route all the way home. He was so excited. We got home just after noon. Time for me to eat and Cooper ran around the yard happy to be home.
