In former posts I mentioned how Cooper loves to burrow into things. In the winter, he LOVES winter coats. If you lay your coat on the bed, chair or floor he will flip the coat around until he finds a sleeve and then crawl into it. I'm not sure what is so fun about being wedged tightly into a coat, or why it's so much fun to bark while in there. I guess you would have to try it to understand. But seriously, the reason I think Cooper likes this so much is that his breed, Bichon Frise, were used on hunting trips to chase and flush out burrowing animals like the badger.
I found this video and thought it would be fun to show here. Who could resist taunting him a little as I did in this video? He had pushed himself into the sleeve so tightly that he really had to work a bit to find his way out. We hang our coats now most of the time. Though this activity is ever so fun... to do it every day looses it's appeal.
