Cooper is all grown up. He's four years old now. He has reached the age of doggy adulthood. I wonder how long it takes for a Bichon to settle down. Not that I want Cooper to become old an dis-interested in play time. I just wonder when his "Puppy Time" will become less ferocious. He becomes a MANIAC when he is struck with the playful feelings that seem to propel him across the house, around in circles, up and down the stairs, up and over the furniture, around people, through stacks of papers and across the house again to do another lap. The whole thing is hysterical to watch! He moves so FAST! He makes noises while tearing through the house. He isn't growling. I don't know what to call the vocalizations he uses while he's so full of energy.
He doesn't do his "Puppy Time" thing as often as he used to when he was little. We still see it a few times per week in the winter. He does it way more often as the weather warms up and we spend more time outside.
Other owners of Bichons have described this activity and wonder if Cooper does the same thing. It's funny that I had never recorded puppy time on video before. Since I started this blog, it's been called to my attention how neglectful I am as a photographer. I do have a lot of pictures (or did before my computer crashed) but we all have to admit, video is much more fun to watch. So the other night, after we got new carpet installed, Cooper was taking full advantage of the open space. First he had to roll on the carpet,
then...
PUPPY TIME!!!!!
