Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Yeah, Well... It's Still A Bike

Jesse was given a bunch of pieces of a motorcycle.  Yup... a basket case.  Not unusual.

When you hang around with people who work on their own bikes, those people tend to give you parts.

The fun part of this story is that Cooper wanted to get in the back of the truck.

When he was back there he checked out the bike... must have recognized it as a bike of some sort... and just laid down with it.

It was really weird.  We have no idea what he might have been thinking.

I don't known why he would just lay down in the truck with this bike.  Any ideas?

Daddy On The Tiny Bicycle

Jesse was given a little bicycle.  How cute is this?

I can't even write a story good enough to cover what you'll see here.

Cooper thought it was funny.

Revisiting My Favorite Car Wash

I have a favorite car wash I use.  Cooper gets a little nervous in there, but he's getting better.  This time he didn't cry.  What a good boy!

Likes Mini Vans

Cooper really likes this mini van I had to deliver on my way to Andy's.

He spent plenty of time on the floor checking out every seat.  He sniffed and jumped up on one, then the next.

I thought it was really cute how he tried to figure out which ones he wanted to sit in.  He tried out each seat.

He settled on the one next to me.  No surprise there.  He really likes to sit with me most of all.

I think he would rather I had bench seats, but in my smart car we're close...  and on the bike he can lay right against me.  He's a happy guy.

Treat Ball - Part 2

When we got in the van, Cooper played with his treat ball almost all the way to Andy's.  He was really funny.  If he rolled it off the seat he would look at me to go get it for him.  YEAH RIGHT!  While I'm driving???

He finally got tired of waiting for me to get the ball for him, so he jumped down and got it.  He brought it back up on the seat and rolled it around again to get the treats out until it fell off the seat again.

And again...

And again...

Treat Ball - Part 1

Cooper is full of fun surprises.  I love that he is such a thinker.  He lets me know his ideas if he can.

We usually go to Andy's about three times a week.  This time, as we were getting ready to go, Cooper let me know that he wanted to bring his treat ball.

he was so crazy with this idea he didn't stay still long enough for me to get a good picture

He brought it to the door as I was ready to go out.  He pushed it with his nose and then barked at me and the ball until I told him to hand it to me.  He picked it up and handed it to me, then ran out the door right to the car.  He's so happy when he gets us to understand his wants.

PRIDE - Part 1

Cooper and I rode in the PRIDE Parade in Boston this year.

We were 13 bikes in our group, but there were two big bike groups ahead of us PLUS police escort,

and at least one more big group behind us.

My bike is in the middle just above the shoulder of the walker on the right

We had so much fun.  Cooper loves parades.  When we stop he will get on his back feet and paw the air as if he's waving to the crowds.  He gets loud cheers every time he does this.  He knows the
cheers are for him too.  He barks in reply and paws some more.  Everyone loves to see Cooper on the bike.  What an exciting day.

I didn't get to take any pictures since I always have to ride the bike.  These pictures were taken by some great people who sent me the pictures they took.  Thank you all for your help!

Oh yeah!  I also found a youtube clip.  Watch the timer on this clip.  You'll see us at 3 minutes 50 seconds into the clip.
