Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Ready For The Picture

This is a good shot of Cooper being about the only one ready for the picture that was about to be taken.

Everyone else is messing around.  Look how well behaved and ready he is.

Contemplating The Vest

Cooper is still looking at this vest that I still haven't made into a vest for him.

I'm not sure what to do with it....

I wish I was better at making thing than I am...

He would be wearing this by now rather than laying on it.

Countdown To Spring

Pictures of us on the bike make me long to go for a ride.

This was a cooler day in the early fall.

I can't wait to get out there again.

Spring is 49 days away... We can DO IT!

Boston Bike Show 2014 With Sam

At the Boston Bike show our good friend Sam was there working at the SEMMSF booth raising money for their cause.

I couldn't get a good picture, but you can see how happy Cooper is to see his people.

She has been someone Cooper loves to see almost every weekend, all summer long, at all the bike events this year.  He knows exactly who she is and goes right to her.

Boston Bike Show 2014 With Andy

At the Boston Bike show, another friend, Andy, who is devoted to raising money for wounded vets was doing his best as he always does.

So blurry
Cooper has been to all his bike runs so far.  Unfortunately we probably won't make it this year.

BUT.... cell phone ready... I capture pictures of Andy and Cooper with a boot full of money.  The day before this it was filled with over $4,000 for our wounded vets.  Nice!

Boston Bike Show 2014 With Elisa

At the Boston Bike show this year, our friend Elisa grabbed Cooper for a big hug and a scratch.

I always try to keep my cell phone ready so I can take a picture.  There is no hiding their friendship.

Boston Bike Show 2014

This year's Boston Bike Show was fun.  It's the first time we ever went as a group with other group members.

We walked around a lot.  Checking out things at vender booths.

Some booths were manned by people we know and love.

A lot of people remember Cooper from last year.  He was photographed in probably every isle we were in.  I find these pictures usually on FB or they are sent to me by friends.

Posing For "New Haircut Pics"

I put Cooper by my lap top with the camera on.

He looked at it some, and then looked at me.

I don't know if he realizes that it's him on that screen.

But if he does realize it, he's got to be admiring himself thinking, "I look GOOD".

New Haircut - Part 2

Well, what do you think?  It's kind of our usual spring cut, but it had to be done now.

Cooper likes it a lot, but he gets cold easy now.

He has to wear something warm now when the temps drop.

And he's happy to be covered over with a blanket for the night when we go to bed.

New Haircut - Part 1

I've been saying for a month that I need to cut Cooper's mop top off and cut his hair back a little.

The mop top was a lot of knots that were too close to his skin so they bothered him a little if people petted his head.

The rest of his body was getting scruffy and it was beginning to snarl a little.

With 4 more chilly months to go, I thought I should take some of the length off that too so his whole body won't get all knotted up by the end of the winter.

SO.... I settled in and began to cut...

Check out tomorrow to see the new look.

Jumped Right In

Cooper needed a bath BADLY.  Sometimes in the winter we go a little longer between baths because it's too chilly.

I started to fill the tub, took his collar off, put a couple things in the tub to play with, and called his name.

Then he jumped right in and started to play and bark.  I guess I should bathe him more often.  He really does love to play in the water.

Cooper Getting Patched

Cooper was 'Patched' by the Patriot Riders Mass. Chapter 5.

This is Cooper with Patriot Rider's President, Warren Jones during the January 2014 monthly meeting.

We're so proud for him to be a junior member of this group.

Now I need to make his vest.

Blue Knight's Toy Run - Part 2

Sometimes the best things happen at a bike Run.

This year at the Blue Knight's Toy Run, we bumped into an old friend of mine who I had lost touch with a long time ago.

She came over to see the cute little dog with blue hair.  I couldn't believe my eyes.  We both cried and of course, she LOVES Cooper.

Blue Knight's Toy Run - Part 1

This year's Blue Knight's Toy run was a RAINY DAY.  Such a bummer, but a great memory!

Most of the time this ride attracts hundreds of riders to help with donations of toys and money to buy gifts for children of less fortunate families.  This time, the 29th annual, there were probably less than 200 bikes.  It was cold in the low 40ºs with a light rain.

Last time Cooper rode in that kind of chill his ears weren't safe.  They would blow in the freezing cold breeze.  This is not safe for his ears.

SO... I made a fleece cowl that covers his head too.  He hates it, but his ears stayed warm.

Santa and Mrs. Clause love to pet Cooper every year.  Cooper loves it of course, but I wonder how it feels to have Santa Clause as a devoted fan.
