Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Wood In The Smart Car

I know... I know...

A Smart Car isn't supposed to be used as a pick up truck.

I can't help it though... sometimes when you have to pick up wood, you have to pick up wood.

And if you don't have your pick up truck...

Your car becomes the pick up vehicle.

All I can say is that it's a good thing I didn't have my bike that day.

Cooper likes to be the helper not matter what I get myself into.

Sleeping With Eyes Open

I know I have a lot of cute pictures of Cooper sleeping...

but how many times have a gotten him sound asleep with his eyes open?

Rainy Run

So this was a rainy day ride.

Cooper doesn't like riding the motorcycle in the rain.

I never force that with him.

I feel like, unless we're stuck and HAVE TO ride in the rain, I'm not going to put him through that.

So we took the car and watched the bikes leave on the run.  He doesn't look too happy, does he?

Sadie Dog Part 2

Well, here they are.  As I promised.

Look how cute Sadie is with Cooper.

She's so excited!

Submissive little girl.  She's a bit bigger than Cooper but spent all her time crouched down to his level.

He really liked her a lot.

Sometimes if we were in different surroundings I would love to let them play.

But most of the time it isn't possible.

So this is the best we can do for social time Puppy Style.

Sadie Dog Part 1

Look how cute these two are.

We had just had lunch and were leaving.  Someone else was coming in and they left little Sadie outside to wait.

When they saw each other through the door they both just started to wiggle and wiggle in excitement.

Yes... they will get to see each other.  Look at tomorrow's post and you'll see how cute they are when they get to meet.

PacTV Plymouth Parade

So I could write plenty, but nothing could tell the story of how REALLY cute Cooper is like watching this video of Plymouth's 4th of July parade.   We are at the VERY END of this video.  Find 1:19:34 on the counter... you'll see us.

Best Room Of The Week

Out of all the hotels we stayed in for the whole week we were gone,

The last night was the best.  The room had sliders that went right out to a small lawn, and then to the parking lot where the bikes were.

Cooper could be tied to the handle of the slider and come and go as he wanted to.   Too bad most weren't like that.

Just a sub shop but the folks inside were fantastic.

Zoe And The Tramp

This is Zoe.

She spends a lot of time in the gift shop at the D-Day Memorial in VA.

She was a fantastic dog who was obviously socialized with people...

but she was wonderful with Cooper too...  no jumping and barking...

She just calmly greeted him.  Nice.

D-Day Memorial

We went to the D-Day Memorial when we were in VA.  What a beautifully well done exhibit.

When you walk around the grounds, you follow a route that shows you chronologically what happened.

Amazingly well done and it's still under construction.

I would love to make a trip back to see it when it's done.

Perhaps on a cooler day than when we visited.

It was HOT that day.

Painted Rocks

Riding in Connecticut was really nice.  The roads are really nice for riding a motorcycle.

And then... as you're riding along you see these weird colors along side the wooded road.

As you approach the colors you see that it's a big rock painted like an eagle...

Or a snake.

Very Cool... well at least I thought so.  I don't think Cooper cared about it much.
