Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Part 4 - Bourne Video

I thought you might like to see our ride through after we were done putting the flags in the ground.

The end of the video is of the inside of my pocket.  I had to put my phone down so I could stop before I hit the bike in front of me.

Part 3 - Cooper at Bourne National Cemetary

Cooper was super well behaved.  Visited the grave of a friend of friends who was killed in action.

He did as I asked him to do and stayed out of the way.

Everything went really well.  What an honor.

Happy Thanksgiving '13

I thought it was important to break in on this four part story I've been posting to say...
Happy Thanksgiving

This is my favorite Thanksgiving Picture from a couple years ago.
Let people know what you're thankful for, especially if you're thankful for each other.

Part 2 - Planting Flags

Putting flags in the ground went quickly with all the help we had.

Cooper and I planted about 50 flags in less than an hour.

It was an honor to do this.

Part 1 - Bikers And Others Gather To Honor Our Fallen

Before Veteran's Day the Bourne National Cemetary needed 58,000 flags placed on grave markers of our fallen heros.

There was a great outpouring of volunteers of all ages.

There were many groups of bikers who came, a Corvette group, scouts, military veterans and families.

I get goose bumps just from looking at all the pictures.

More Morgan's Ride Pics

Here are some more pictures I came across from Morgan's ride(click)posted on October 5th.

What a cute kid she is.

It rained that day so a lot of people didn't show up.

I'm bummed out about that because when we set out to do a benefit ride to help someone in need, the need doesn't go away when it rains.

It would be nice if folks still showed up in their cars so the money can be raised and the food won't be left over or wasted.

We had a great time none the less.  And the dogs had a GREAT time.

Hog Wild - Part 5 - New Friend

We really love the rides where there are other dogs.

This dog was on this ride too.  I can't remember if he was also riding a bike or not.

SO CUTE though.  Who cares if he rides?

Hog Wild - Part 4 - Dog B.O.N.E.S. of Massachusetts

At the Wild Hog Ride there were other dogs there.

One of the dogs was a Certified Therapy Dog that was registered with Dog B.O.N.E.S. Of Massachusetts(click). Cooper used to be registered with.

I saw the patch and talked to the owner.  What a beautiful dog.

I wish I could remember the dog's name but the face is UNFORGETTABLE.
