Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Chicken BBQ

Every year we go to the Chicken BBQ fund raiser put on by the Taunton Area Vietnam Veterans Association.

They give us a half chicken meal cooked over a wood fire pit.

Cooper had to ride in front of me this time because my grand son Logan came with us.

He rode on the back seat where Cooper usually rides.

It was fairly crowded and these are the only pictures I could find.

I can’t see Cooper in any of them but he’s there… GUARANTEED.

Trip To The Shop

Before going on vacation on the bikes, we had to put our bike in the shop for tires, breaks, oil change and needed to replace the windshield.

I bought the windshield and needed to get it over to the shop.  SO… I strapped it to my trunk.

Yup… almost half an hour riding this way to the shop.  Got some REALLY funny looks.  Usually people look at the cute dog.

Snuggly Mama

Sometimes jumping on someone and holding her down is the way you get someone to snuggle.

Cooper does this sometimes to me and other people he’s close with.

He seems so proud of himself that he gets what he wants.

Don Is Learning

Don laughs at Cooper a lot.

Cooper has a way of getting everyone do things he likes to have done.

He just teaches kind of like a trial by fire method.

Cooper is a great teacher.

Especially when he gets all this great attention as a result.

Don learned how to do this move in only two days.

Who says you can’t teach an old human new tricks?

VFW

We spent some time the other night hanging out at the VFW after their bi weekly meat raffle.  I was kind of sick but I didn’t feel like going home yet, so I turned around in my chair and relaxed to watch a game of pool.

Cooper made his way onto my lap and laid there watching the game too.  He likes to watch people interact.  He was quite happy, as was I.

Scratches

One of Cooper’s favorite things is LONG scratches from his belly to his neck.

He has a way to make it easy for the scratcher to get the most access to his scrunchable areas.

He tips back against your legs and lifts both arms so you can get to his whole under side.

He’s a real pro at this position and the balance it requires.

Post Haircut Snuggles With Don

Very soon after Cooper had his hair cut… and his treat… and ran around outside to feel the breeze on his skin…

He settled down on the couch with Don for a nice little nap.

bunny ears
He loves Don... even though Don makes bunny ears in pictures.

Theirs is a natural friendship that comes easily to both of them.

Newest Hair Cut

We HAD to get rid of the fluff.

Time for a hair cut so we settled in for a few hours with a pair of scissors and a little trash bag.

He is really not upset by being groomed.

I know he loves it after I’m done.

He can feel everything so much better than with all that hair on him.

So scratches feel EXTRA good.

Bed Head

Cooper climbed under the blankets, playfully barking like a crazy dog.  He became quiet for a few minutes.  I realized he had fallen asleep.

When he woke he climbed out of the blankets and had TOTAL bed head.  Love this boy!

Photo Bomb

One of my Favorite flowers is a Lilac.  The smell is intoxicating to me.  My daughter left some on my dining room table when she came to feed Cooper for me.

I couldn’t help taking pictures of them so I could post them on FB.  And Look who photo bombed my picture.

Cat

Cooper always chases cats out of our yard.

Any time he sees a cat walking around he goes after it as fast as he can, growling and barking.

Every now and then a cat will be minding it’s own business and our of Cooper’s sight.

These cats know better than to get his attention, so they remain very still until they can make their get-away.

Cooper was just wandering and sniffing and enjoying the spring time.

As the cat laid on the swing set, enjoying the spring time.

And Cooper didn’t suspect a thing.

Mercedes Benz

When we left my car at the garage, our loaner car was a 2017 Mercedes Benz.

Not too shabby.

Cooper didn’t like it too much because there was a console between us.

So I let him lay across my lap while I drove.

He was fine with that so it was really not so bad.

I had this car for a week… for free…

Does he look upset?
