Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Gabrielle's Burrial

Our Beloved Gabrielle passed away peacefully and sweatly a few days before Cooper’s birthday.  We all said good-bye and shed our tears.

At the bottom of the white trim board is where you'll see the baby lilac tree.

We buried her by the fire pit area, our favorite family hang out.  Over her we planted a baby lilac tree.

At the place we had set her food and cream there is a small ceramic cat statue that wears Gabrielle’s collar and tags.  We miss her, but we’re glad this is over for her.

Being With Gabrielle

Gabrielle is very old and clearly growing weaker and  less able to get around on her own.

So, when Cooper and I get home from work every night, we go find her and take her outside.

She loves to be outside, so we sit with her for about an hour and let her walk around if she wants.

Or she can just lay on me and Cooper does too, and we just enjoy our time together.

Birthday - Time Lapse Video

Sometimes you discover things by accident.  I wanted to take video of Cooper eating a cookie he got for his birthday.

By accident I had my phone on time laps.  This is so funny.  I wish I had taken longer video.

Birthday Dog Cookies For Cooper!

Cooper had already eaten one of these cookies, but he REALLY wanted another one.

So I gave it to him.  What the heck?  AND he got ice cream when we got home.  Lucky Dog!

Birthday Gift At Andy's

On Cooper’s birthday we worked at Andy’s.

Andy’s mom never forget’s Cooper’s birthday.

This day she came home with home made Beef and Cheese dog bones.

Cooper LOVED them.

He’s such a lucky and well loved dog.

Birthday Present From Mama

Cooper’s birthday was on the 19th.  I went to the store to pick up a few things, and wanted to buy something for Cooper’s birthday.

I got him a box of ping pong balls.  He loves to tear a box open to get his prize.  Watch the video.  He’s 9 years old, but seems like a puppy here.

Middleboro - Women Veteran Memorial Ceremony

On Memorial day in Middleboro, there was a memorial dedication to Women Veterans.

It was an honor to be invited to be part of the ceremony to escort one of the women who had a difficult time walking.

So I was to help her walk safely.

Cooper was perfect.

He stayed out of the way of the walker and did exactly what I wanted him to do.

Cooper was behind me, perfectly out of the way.
Such a good boy!

Middleboro - Parade

This parade was on Memorial Day.  Sometimes things get lost in the shuffle and it takes a while to get them on the blog.

Good thing I don’t try to follow our events in chronological order.

Sometimes I get pictures or news paper clippings a year later.

Cooper loves a parade, and there are so many people taking pictures of him that I could get a picture and not even recognize where it was taken.

But it’s fun showing them to you even if I don’t tell much about it.

Pictures sometimes tell the whole story.

Meeting Paul's Dog

We stopped by our friend Paul’s house to have some work done on Warren’s bike.

Perfect Cooper Shadow.  See it?
Paul had a dog who seemed like he wanted to take a bite of Cooper.

But when he was let out of the gate he was a totally different dog.

Very well behaved and friendly.

BIker Butterfly

Cooper watched this butterfly land on my bike…

…then a friend’s bike.

Indication of a GREAT ride is what I’m thinking.

Best Buds

These two are such good best buds.

I love how they get along as well as they do.

I find comfort in that Wedgie knows all there is to take care of Cooper if I needed him to.

And I find comfort in that Cooper loves Wedgie so much that he wouldn’t be upset or scared if I had to leave him for a little while.

The love is real and they are very comfortable together.

It warms my heart.

Almost Time To Place Flags Again

On Veteran’s Day there will be over 60,000 flags placed at Bourne Cemetery.

And We’ll be there with our group of Patriot RIders to join forces with all the other people who come along.

Cooper knows the routine now.  He has done it twice a year for a long time now.

A Baby Seat For Me?

With two new grand babies in our family, we have been collecting baby items.

My son’s baby boy came this month and my daughter’s baby girl is due in January.

Cooper loves baby equipment. They are just the right size for him.

He loves bouncy seats because they are fun to play on AND comfortable to sleep on.

Maybe I’ll ask for the bouncy seat for Cooper when the babies are done with them.

Cooper would love to have one, and it may save him from having to be on my lap all the time.

Cooper Digs

Dogs love to dig.

Warren started digging a hole to show him.

Once Cooper got his nose in there, there was no stopping him.

Sand went flying and Cooper was head first into the hole.

I wish I got video of this for you.

He’s so funny when he digs.
