Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

The Wall1 - Lining Up

Our motorcycle group got to escort the Vietnam Moving Wall to Wareham MA.

There were a lot of bikes there but we were right behind the bikes flying our full size flags from our bikes.

It’s being invited to do stuff like this that makes me so proud to do what we do to honor our veterans.

Meeting Pictures

One of our members took pictures of our most recent meetings.

The cute part is that Cooper sits at the head table with the officers.

He does best there near me where I take care of everything he might need, but mostly he knows no one will bother him so he can behave himself the best.

Run6. Working Hard

Our run was a great time.  The rain cleared and we had a BEAUTIFUL ride.

After we returned we did our socializing and answering questions.

Cooper is good at the socializing part… I answer all the questions.

Run5. Cooper In A Box

There was some heavy rain that postponed the ride departure so Cooper and I stayed behind a counter to sell t-shirts.

Cooper has a difficult time wanting to stay still if he has no idea where to be.

Sometimes I’ll lay my sweat shirt on the ground or put him in a chair or on a towel.

When nothing else is available… a box will do.

Run4. Video of Cooper and Shane

I love to get video of Cooper sometimes.

I think Shane is more cute than Cooper in this video.

Run3. Messing With Shane

When we were done setting up for the run, one of our Junior Members sat with Cooper and began to pet him.

Cooper was THRILLED to get the attention.

He really loves our members.

Shane laughed and laughed at Cooper’s silliness.

They make a cute team as you can tell.

It’s so fun to watch them be goofy together.

Run2. Trying To Behave

On the day of the run, we showed up early to set up and be ready for the other bikes to arrive.

Cooper did his best to stay out of trouble.

He sat and watched all the commotion, happily out of the way.

Run1. Delivering Raffle Prizes

My motorcycle group did a run to raise money to bring the Vietnam Moving Wall to a local town.  Part of organizing that run we had to collect raffle prizes.

Cooper and I had to deliver the raffle prizes we collected to the organizer of the raffle.

I loaded my little Smart Car with all the items.  Packed the car FULL to the point there wasn’t any room for Cooper to sit on his seat.

He had to ride on my lap while I drove.  Not that he minds that… He loves to ride on my lap.

Our First Doggy Friend In A Wheelchair

Cooper met his first doggy friend in a wheel chair.

She is a happy dog who gets around really well.

She has regular physical therapy and can walk a little bit.

Her slow recovery could take a while but she is doing great.

And if she has to rely on her wheelchair for long walks, I think she won’t mind much.

Just Plain Happy

This is just a favorite old picture that was embellished by using an app.

The picture was taken in PA a few years ago during a vacation.  To me it looks like my boy is just plain happy.

With Michelle In The Big Red Chair

Michelle had to try our big red chair when we got it home.

Of course Cooper had to help and show her how.

Before We Met Warren Part 1

These pictures were taken at an event the year before we met Warren.

I don’t really remember what event it was…

But look the guy in the base ball cap directly above Cooper’s head.

It’s Warren!

Really Old Brewster Ambulance

Brewster Ambulance had this really cool old ambulance at Krazy Days.

The kids got to get in and see what an old ambulance was like.

Of course any time I get to pose Cooper I will…  It’s just what we do.

This Is Gronk

One of the vendors at Krazy Days had this great little guy.

This is Gronk… only about 12 weeks old and already bigger than Cooper.

He’s beautiful and gentle by nature.  He will be a wonderful adult dog.  We can tell already.

I hope we get to see him again next year or maybe around town.

Cooper and Judy

This is Judy the goat.  She was at the Krazy Days event in our town posing for pictures with people.

Of course you KNOW I have to put Cooper up there to have his picture taken too.  There is actually a contest I may enter this picture in if I can find the information.  I’ll let you know.

Crazy Days '17

During Krazy Days, they shut down the center of town.

A bunch of businesses and vendors come out and line the streets for people to walk through.

We have friends who had booths.

Rolling Thunder MA Chapter 2 motorcycle group was there so we hung out with them and talked for a while.

We love these people.

Cooper and Rick

The passing of a great friend is never easy.

We will miss this man for EVER!

He was a wonderful, selfless, patriotic man who gave of himself every single day.  RIP Rick

Sargent Stripes

Cooper got his Sargent stripes from his friend who calls him Sarge.

He will wear these stripes on his riding vest for the rest of his life in honor of our friend Bob.

He’s a great friend who we have learned a lot from.

It’s going to be our honor to carry him with us everywhere we go.
