Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Cooper Wants His Bone

I took Cooper's new bone away after he chewed it for more than half an hour.  He would keep going till it was gone.

Look...  He smells it.  He knows exactly where it is.  Two shelves above his head next to the picture frame.  I'll give it back to him tomorrow for a while.

Too much of a good thing isn't in his best interest in this case.  We don't want him getting sick.

Cooper Loves The Bone He Got In His Stocking

Cooper got this bone in his stocking.  He had one a long time ago.  I remembered he loved it and chewed on it till he was sick.

He seems to be on the same mission this time.  We'll have to take it away before he gets sick.

Cooper and Gabrielle Open Their Stockings

Cooper and Gabrielle were very interested in their stockings this year.

Cooper empties his own stocking.  He only needs it to be held so he can get his nose in there and pull the items out.

Gabrielle needs a little more help and incentive...  Cat nip helps.

Cooper really enjoyed his stocking, until I put his new hat on.  HAHA.  I plan to make some kind of cold weather ear protection for him to wear on the bike with this had and the matching scarf that came with it....

He's not amused.

Cooper Opening His Gift

Cooper loves to open gifts.  He loves the ripping game.

As we were opening gifts, he would go from person to person as it was their turn and bark or try to help.

Finally he got a gift to open too.  He was allowed to tear and rip.  He even dug at it with his paw and barked at it.  It was really funny.

He loves things to wear.  This is a light to attach to his collar so I can see him outside at night.  I really like to know where he is if I look out.  The yard is mostly fenced in so I don't have much to worry about, but it's still nice to know.

Christmas Dinner

This is Christmas dinner at the adult table.

Somehow Cooper claimed a chair at the adult table.  Look at the chair to my right at the head of the table.  Yup... that's him.

Cooper is so much fun on Christmas.

Waiting For Santa

Cooper's waiting for Santa.

Merry Christmas to everyone who visits us here.  We love to look every day to see how many new views we've had and if any new countries joined us.

Our current count is 21,372 views in 36 countries.  Isn't that impressive?  So, please share our stories with your friends and family.  That would be our BEST Christmas gift ever!

Decorating The Tree With Cooper And My Dad

This is our first Christmas in the new home.

Cooper and I decorated the tree.  He sniffed as I placed ornaments where they would look nice.

This is one of the first ornaments I pulled out of the box, and the first one on the tree.  It's in memory of my Dad who passed away in 1999.

It was nice to decorate with Dad and Cooper.  They have never met but I know them both.  It was wonderful to look at them both smiling back at me.

King Of The Stack

Cooper is so funny now when he goes down cellar.  All that wood has proven to make quite a great activity.  He loves to climb them.  Many times the pile changes because we're burning the wood, so he comes down to smell the next layer or get up on a pile he couldn't get on last time he was down there.

Oh to be a dog with such simple needs to entertain one's self.

Buffy and Cooper Hogging The Whole Bed

Two dogs with the combined weight of less than 35 pounds sure can take up a lot of room.

Do you think they planned laying like this so no one could get in bed with them?

More Pictures From The Blue Knights Toy Run

One of the biggest organized rides in the area is the Blue Knight's Annual Toy Run.  There are never less than 500 bikes there.  This year was no different.

Cooper enjoys all the bikes and the people.  AND THE RIDING.  There are so may bikes and lots of people looking on from the side of the street.

The police escort the ride to keep us from having to stop at any intersection.  The local towns also send cruisers to stop traffic for us.

After the ride they have meat ball subs and hot soup. (Cooper got some of my meatballs when we got outside)  Hot coffee is always a welcome drink at this time of year when it's kind of cold out.

As usual, my daughter and her fiance cleaned up again with the raffles.  They got HUNDREDS of dollars of goods for I think $60 in tickets.  It's so much fun to watch them win.

When Friends Come To Help

Jesse is unable to take care of the house in the manner that the house needs to be taken care of.

In the fall there are gutters that need to be cleaned out and other things.

Cooper likes to watch all that work being done.  He gets a real kick out of all the commotion.

Jesse's friend Mike came to do the gutters for him.  He brought a blower.  Cooper has never seen a blower before.

He wasn't really sure he liked this tool.  It was loud and if you got in the way it blew a lot of air toward you.  It was funny to see him hide from it.  If I had more time with that blower, I would have made sure he wouldn't be afraid of it any more.

Sitting Close All The Time

No matter where you sit, someone is willing to sit with you.

Here are Buffy at Jesse's side and Cooper along side his leg.  When you have a broken leg and can't do much, at least you won't be lonely.

Too bad the dogs can't learn how to bring you a cup of Coffee.
