Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Happy Cooper At Work

Cooper loves the people where we work taking care of a friend.

It's like our second home.

Cooper loves his people and they love him.

He has his own routine while we're there.

I love this happy face.

Hanging Out With The Chickens - Playing Chase

Cooper and the chickens sometimes get into a little game of chase.

If they get close to Cooper he will jump a little then step forward.

The chicken will then turn and run a few steps till Cooper catches up.

The chase is on until Cooper corners one.

Then the chicken will cheat by flying over Cooper to get away.
SO funny to watch them.

Hanging Out With The Chickens - They Trust Cooper

These chickens have seen Cooper every day since we got them at a day old.

If he's not barking, they trust him without any problem.

They come right up to him sometimes, which makes Cooper a little nervous.

I love to see them looking at each other.

Hanging Out With The Chickens - Make Them Come Out And Play

Cooper does his best to try to get the chickens out of the coop.

When he is at a loss for anything else to do to get them out he looks at me.

He just wants me to make them come out so he can play with them.

Hanging Out With The Chickens - Wanna Get In There

Cooper always wants to go in the chicken pen with me when I go in to let them out for the day.

He loves to see them and smell the ground where they've walked.

The chickens are used to seeing him every day since they were one day old.

They don't mind him being in the pen with them as long as he behaves and doesn't bark.

He still barks sometimes but the chickens get over it right away.

His favorite place to go is in the coop where he can chase and corner the chickens.

We had to put a stop to that, but he can look inside if he wants to.

RIP Ibby

Cooper and Ibby were happy to see each other about once a week.

Ibby was about a year older than Cooper.

She was fairly slow so Cooper was never startled.

They would follow each other all around the kitchen.

Sometimes they went out to pee together too, but Ibby was always on leash so exploring was limited.

Cooper will probably notice she's gone.  I think he'll wonder why she doesn't come play any more.

They've always made good friends.

We're going to miss you Ibby.  RIP in doggy heaven.

Remembering Rick Wood On Memorial Day

This man is Rick Wood.  He was one of the most patriotic and dedicated to our veterans man I've even known.  He passed away a few years ago but his presence is so very missed.

Cooper liked him a lot.  Being a true biker, with bikes being his lifestyle, not his hobby, he rode EVERYWHERE.  So he smelled like EVERYWHERE.

Memorial Day 2020

Memorial Day is a day set aside to remember all those who fought for our country and our freedom.

These days it seems that there is a lot to be desired in the way of freedom but here's hoping our lives get back to normal very soon.
In the mean time, Cooper and I are honored to remember hour fallen with this picture of one of the many times we helped place thousands of flags at Bourne National Cemetery in Bourn Massachusetts.

Here are a couple of video clips of Cooper checking out the chicken coop with he 6 week old chickens he's been watching over as they grew up.

He's so curious.

Brave Cooper

This is great, but there are too many pictures to explain every one.

Just enjoy his curiosity.

He made his way almost all the way in.

Without scaring the chickens.

He seemed very careful and mindful of not making sudden moves.

He's so so so SMART!

Investigating Inside

He made it into the coop with me.

He is looking and sniffing immediately.

I really thought he would be afraid of being so close to the chickens.

He looked at them as they got close and learned about their new feeders.

They look right at Cooper while he looks at them.

He looks for confidence, but in my opinion I really don't think he needs it.

He did really great with this when I thought the chickens would scare him.

Very Curious

How cute is he looking in?

Can you see the chickens inside?

I know it's a little dark but you can make them out in some of the pictures.

He just really wats to come in with me.

I'm inside by the way.  My son took these pictures for me.
