Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Fall Foliage 2010

It's been a long, long time since Cooper and I have ridden with Woman On Wheels.  We have branched out to benefit rides to raise money for our veterans.

This ride was in VT.  It was the last time we did a fall foliage ride.

Vermont is a beautiful place to see the leaves turn colors with a group of good friends.

Riders Meeting

Before a ride we usually meet at a coffee shop so everyone can have breakfast or a coffee before the ride while we wait for everyone to show up.

It's a nice time to socialize with people you haven't seen in a while.

Then there is a riders meeting where the road captain explains any important parts of the ride.

Cooper pays close attention as you can see.

Love My New Phone... Great Camera!

I upgraded my phone.  My pictures were too grainy and blurry.

I got an iPhone.  Not a favorite because I like my buttons and my keyboard.

I am so happy with the picture quality.  And I'm getting used to the features of the phone.

So from now on the pictures here on this blog should be much better than I have been able to provide so far.

Can't Wait - Can't Wait - Can't Wait

It won't be long now!  I remember this day as if it was only a few days ago, not 6 months ago.  I miss riding as if it has been a year since I've ridden.

When we ride on back roads, Cooper spends the whole time on his feet sniffing the air and watching the sites.  I love to see him in my mirrors and feel him against my back.   I really can't wait to ride.

Table Manners

This benefit was a few years ago.  I don't remember the cause but I do remember the company.  We had a good day.

I trained Cooper to see if there was food on the table, and if there is he has to put his head down in my lap.

If there is no food on the table he can keep his head above the table so he can see what's going on.

Skills Class

It's been a while since I've been able to participate in a skills day with my friends.

Cooper likes it because the bikes are near each other in every direction all over the lot where the course is set up.

We turn left and turn right and go fast and go slow and shift up and shift down and stop short and turn sharp....

Cooper is happy to do the whole thing.  Would rather been on the bike than watching from the side lines.  I leashed him once on a 15 food leash so he had room to move around while I rode alone.  All he did was watch me and bark until I stopped and put him on the bike with me.

Front Row Seats

This was from Last summer.  We were at a bike rodeo.  It was a ton of fun to watch the games.  Cooper usually loves the riding part, but to sit back and watch the bikes in front of us took a little getting used to from Cooper.  He got the hang of it though.  Look how interested and relaxed he looks.

Before Every Ride

Every ride begins this way...

Someone pets Cooper and asks me questions about him.  EVERY SINGLE RIDE!

Playing With Logan And Dave

My grand son Logan was tossing a football with his father Dave.

Cooper saw a ball and went out of his mind.

This was a lot of fun for him, he even got the ball and ran with it while Dave chased him.  I tried to get a picture of that but wasn't fast enough.

It was fun to watch and seemed fun for everyone playing, weather invited to play or not.

What's In A Name?

I can't remember these guys names.  I think I remember one but am not going to embarrass my self any further by mentioning what I THINK his name is.

This was taken a few years ago.  We've seen them since.  I guess I have to envy Cooper for not having to remember their names.  They remember his.

Old Nap Time Pics

I was looking through old pictures and look what I found.

Cooper is good at finding someplace to nap no matter where it is.

These pictures are taken in our old house that we sold in 2011.

Once this house was sold we went cross country for 2 months, 11.000 miles.

There are lots of stories in this blog if you read back to the older blog posts.

Go ahead...  check it out.

Kids In The Shed

This video was taken three years ago at our old house in my bike shed.  The sound is off, but the video is really cute.

I know the focus is mostly on my grand kids, but it's a good example of what Cooper does when he's left to his own interest.

Wanna Come In

I was in the basement folding laundry.

Cooper was in the back yard doing what dogs do in the back yard.

He knows that when he wants to come in, he can get my attention and I'll let him in the bulk head.

He's a VERY smart boy.

Cooper With A Bone

I give Cooper raw meet bones to chew to help his teeth.

He has other ideas.  He would rather lick the marrow from the center, strip the last of the meat from the outside, and not chew the bone at all.

This defeats the purpose of the bone.  His teeth really need a cleaning.

Oh well... he loves it anyhow.  I guess that's a win.

Some Random Ride

I came across these pictures.

I don't know where we were going, or who we were with...

But as usual, we're always together - and we're always smiling.

Chicken Knuckle Videos

When we give Cooper a chicken knuckle, he doesn't eat it right away.

He's very careful when he eats gristle.  It's funny to watch him because he's try to bite it in half, then let it roll off his tongue so he can bark at it some more.

Watch these videos.  He will lay and cry at it for a while... bark at it for a while... try to burry it... try to eat it... it's very entertaining if you can stand the constant barking.

My Precious Sleeping Boy

This little dog really tugs on my heart strings.

He's adorable, lovable and precious to me.

When I see him like this,

trusting, comfortable, half asleep...

my heart melts.
