Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Hello Friend

How Cute.  We pulled into a parking lot and there was a dog in another car right next to us.

Cooper spotted the dog and they just seemed to communicate as friends through their windows.

They were so cute.

Caught Ya!

Sometimes I'm just going about my own business and look up and see this.

He's just watching me.  He doesn't want anything from me.

He is just watching me do what ever it is that I have to do.

When I caught him looking he seemed to get a guilty look on his face.

Then a big yawn.

I wonder what he's thinking at times like this.

Bob's Brick

Our friend Bob passed since last year.

We haven't known him long but we loved him well.

When we did the POW/MIA 50 State Flag ceremony, it was at a memorial.

At that memorial there were bricks with names on them to honor loved ones.

We found Bob's brick and took Cooper's picture with it.

Of course getting him to pose this time wasn't easy.

The wind was blowing and there were a lot of people around.

But we were able to get it done.

50 State POW/MIA Flag

We participated in a ceremony where a POW/MIA flag was to travel 50 states.

It was in a box with a book we all signed.  My one regret is I didn't put Cooper's name next to mine.

It was a beautiful day.  We are all about the ceremonies.

Garage Silliness

Cooper does some of the funniest things, like one day when he was in the garage with us. There are 2 halves to my garage.

He was in one half and we were in the other.  I looked down and saw his nose poking through the hole at the bottom of the door that connects the two rooms.

He was quietly sniffing and staying very still.  Not crying... knowing he could come in with is.

All he had to do was walk out side and back into our side by way of the other big doors in front.

But he liked this instead.  So FUNNY!!!

Painting 4 - Painting Cooper

When we arrived at the studio to do our painting we had a pencil sketch of our pet from a picture we submitted.

The picture is really well done.

The artists are really talented.

Cooper laid on the floor on a towel I brought next to my stool.

He wasn't sure of this since he'd never done it before but he followed directions and did great.

We painted backgrounds first...

Then worked on our pet....

Great instruction helped me a lot.  I'm really proud of the final painting.

Painting 3 - Snuggles With Lisa

Lisa is always the one who takes pictures when we're together.

So I seldom have  a picture of her with Cooper.

So this time... I got some.  YAY!!!!!!

Painting 2 - Hanging Out With Nitro

Cooper and Nitro got along really well.

The other 2 dogs were little ones under 10 Pounds.

I think Cooper thinks he's a big dog because he seems to hang out with the big ones.

Painting 1 - Visiting with Lisa

We went to Maine to spend the night with our friend Lisa.

We went to a paint night near Lisa's house and made the best of the visit that day, over night and the next morning.

These pictures are taken while we were sitting around, 3 people and 4 dogs.  It was fun.

43ยบ Riding

We rode during the winter on a day that wasn't too bad if you dressed for it.

So at 43ยบ without riding on the highway, we had on a few layers.  Cooper wore a sweat shirt with a wool jacket over it.

I had to put a hood over his head to keep his ears close to his head.

This prevents his ears from freezing in the cold wind.

The problem is... sometimes it goes too far forward and he can't see.

Then I just laugh.

Christmas 2017 Part 6 - Petting Area

Not only did Cooper get to play Santa for a little while, and hang out with Payton...

... He also got to meet and mingle with some other animals.

Goats and ducks were there for people (and Cooper) to see.

Cooper likes the smells of different species of animals.

He could have smelled them all day.

I can't help but wonder what he thinks when he smells all those smells.

What does it tell him about the animals he's smelling?
