Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

When this is the activity of the moment...

Cooper is at his most happy and secure state.

Can you tell?

Please Let Me Out

It's funny.  Cooper always wants to be on the other side of the gate.

Before this picture was taken, he was laying on this side of the gate looking in until we let him in.

Now he wants to get out.

As my mother would say... "He's always on the wrong side of the door".

Cooper Ate Orange Ice Cream

Normally pictures of a dog eating ice cream is no big deal.

But in this case there is a full sized slice of a frozen orange in the cup.

I thought Cooper would eat around the orange... but he ate the whole thing.  Chomp Chomp Chomp Gone.

Brittany's Run

I just found these pictures.

Then name of this ride was Brittany's Run.

Cooper was happy to sit with Warren.

I just like the pictures.

Swimming Pool?... Or Cooler?

It doesn't matter that we blow up the kiddie pool to fill it with with ice for soda and water.

Cooper has different ideas.

Painting Ceiling Tiles

This building is where we have our Patriot Riders meetings.

We aren't charged to use the building because we do things to help keep it in good shape.

We cleaned it last year.

This year we painted ceiling tiles.

And Cooper supervised.

It's Not About The Bar

To Cooper it's not about the bar.

It's about the man in this picture.
The Junkyard Dog and Cooper are Buddies.

Loves His Back Pack

We were visiting a friend.  We stood around in the drive way talking so Cooper stayed in the car with windows open so he could be part of the crowd.

Sometimes when Cooper has to hang with us for a while and gets to stay in the car, he starts poking around to quench his boredom.

He usually finds his back pack.   He loves it. He likes to get into it so he can play with the things inside.

He has a jug with food in it and a bone with cookies wedged in it.

A rope toy is a favorite too.  It's like a prize bag for him.  He loves it.

Cooper Cloud

We were riding on Cape Cod and a few of us noticed the cloud that looked like Cooper.

Leave it up to me to get a couple poor pictures.

Can you see the likeness?

Cooper's Puzzle

Cooper has three toys that I can put treats or food into.

Usually he asks for his jug or his treat ball.

This time he asked for his puzzle.

He's a little hard on this toys as you can see.

But he really enjoys playing with them.

Weirdo

Sometimes Cooper does this, "Mama! Look at me!" thing.

Do you think this is what he was doing here?

Map On Cooper's Shoulder

This United States patch is one that was all white with a black outline of the whole United States, with each state outlined.  As you can see, most of this patch has been colored blue with a few red ones in the far north east.

These are all the states Cooper and I have been in on the motorcycle... the blue ones were from our trip in 2011.  Read back - back - back in this collection of stories and you'll see what we did when we rode cross country.

Sharing A Spot

We met friends for dinner.

Warren and I took my little car.

One friend was there before us on his bike so we parked next to him.

When his girl got there in her car, he was able to share a space with me so she could park right next to us.

It's good to have a little car. (Not sure if you can tell, but Cooper is in the passenger seat facing me as I take this picture)

Lil' Chairs

My friend John makes little chairs for people to put in their gardens to put plants on.

But when you're Cooper, you get to have a Cooper-sized chair all to yourself.

Cooper wants EVERY chair to himself.

Pan Of Drippings

Every now and then I make a yummy dinner that leaves some yummy drippings.

I could scrape it into his bowl for him to eat, but it would leave behind a lot of activity for Cooper.

It's so good for a dog's mind to work for his food.  This is a perfect occasional activity.

It took him about 20 minutes to lick this pan.

He loved every minute of it.

David's Birthday - Pool Hall

After bowling we went and rented pool tables.

There was a perfect chair for him in the corner.

He was happy to lay there and watch.

I sat with him for a while.

He was happy about that too until he wanted to see.

Then he would peek.

Nothing is cuter than a peeking Cooper.
