Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

New Year's Hug

Cooper gets a good solid hug at least once a day from Wedgie.

Usually Cooper doesn’t like anyone to grip him like that, but This is ok if it's by him.

Solo Ride In The Fall

Look in the mirror in these pictures

I think this was our very last ride before I broke my ankle.

So clearly it’s our last ride of the season.

It was a beautiful 60ยบ day in November.

We rode 90 miles that day, just me and Cooper.

The sun was beginning to set by the time we got home.

And the air was getting cooler.

I wish I could have been out on the warm days around Christmas this year.

Broken ankles spoil all the fun.

Elevator Ride

It’s nice when you get to a doctor’s office for an appointment.

They always have wheel chairs just inside the door.

Cooper is well trained with a wheel chair.

And he loves elevators.

It’s the room of many smells.

Doctor's Orders

After breaking my ankle, my doctor told me to ‘Stay off it.”

So I do a ton of laying around with my feet up.

The swelling is bad.

The pain isn’t too bad but will be after surgery.

So it’s going to be a LONG road of doing nothing at all.

Poor Cooper.  We’re bored together.

Bought A New Car

Since my car accident I had to get another car.

I looked on Craigslist.

My mission was to find a Toyota in good shape under $2,000.  I found a couple.

One I was going to look at, they sold just before we got there.  The other one I found later in the day, so I had to wait till he got out of work to see it.

The car was owned by a wonderful man who was very honest.

I bought the car, Cooper seems very happy with it.  And it runs really well so it’ll do for now.

Back To See The Doc

Cooper used to be afraid of going to the doctor with me.

He thought it was an appointment for him.

He isn’t fond of the vet.

He’s beginning to see the difference between his vet and mine.

Baby Shower

We attended my daughter’s baby shower in a wheel chair.

I had a nice corner where I could see most of the festivities.

Wedgie sat with us.

Cooper was in his glory.

Alex's Towel

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Cooper is so cute sometimes.

He was sitting with our friend Alex…

And Alex put a towel over Cooper’s eyes.

What a goof… Cooper just left it there.

I wonder if he could see through it.

Wareham Ceremony

On Veteran’s Day we were supposed to ride in the Wareham Parade.

But we got rained out.

This little girl made 'Thank You' cards and handed them out to veterans.
So we went to a beautiful ceremony in the town hall in stead.

In The Kids Coats

When my grand kids come they always throw clothes on the floor.

Cooper LOVES their coats best.
