Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Power Washing

Jesse needed to get a power washer for a new project he needed to do around our new house.  I love our old house but it's a LOT of work.

Anyhow... Cooper thinks this power washer is a really neat toy.  He would love to play with it.  I don't think he would know what to do with the water pressure once he got a taste of it.

But this is fun.  To be on the other side of a glass door while Daddy washes the porch.

Cooper was really playful.  He loved this game.

Part Billy Goat

I swear Cooper is part billy goat.  He likes to be up high.

He didn't climb this because there was nothing to jump up on.

I helped him up there.  He doesn't care how he got there.  He just LOVES it!

Swimming Pool?!?

I got a blow up pool for my grand kids to play in on hot days here at my house.

Cooper enjoyed the idea of having a pool.  He couldn't figure out how to get in the pool.  Every time he put his paws on the side of the pool the thing kind of started to collapse.

This worried Cooper a little bit, so I think we need to make some kind of ramp up and over the side for Cooper.  He's going to pop the pool if I let him figure it out on his own.

They All Get Along

We've have Ellie here as our foster dog for a little while now.  She really likes it here.

Gabrielle wasn't too happy at first about sharing space with Ellie but she's good with her now.

Cooper is happy to see her most of the time now.  They run in the yard a little.  I'm so glad they get along so well.

Waiting For Jesse At Wal*Mart

Jesse and I had to run errands.  It was a beautiful day so we took our bikes.

One of our stops was Wal*Mart.  Jesse needed a couple things.  I didn't want to go in.  I had just been there a couple days before.

Cooper and I waited on my bike.  I sat on the back seat and leaned against the trunk.

Cooper laid under my legs on the front seat and watched the door until Jesse came out.

Hanging Out With Dylan

My son's girlfriend's son Dylan has been afraid of lots of things.  We've been working with him a LOT about getting him not to be so afraid.

When we first met him, he was afraid of Cooper AND motorcycles.  Now look at him!

I just found these pictures

On the day we bought the new house, I was signing papers and Jesse, Cooper and my brother were getting our stuff out of storage.  We moved in THAT day.

I know I posted this story before, so I won't bore you with telling it again.  I just love these pictures and thought you might enjoy them too.

He looks like such an important part of the moving process.  Maybe he's the supervisor.

Impostor

One of these blue flowers isn't what it seems.

Can you spot the impostor?

Smelling The Roses

Here is the rose bush Jesse planted for me.  I love yellow roses.

When I smell the roses, I smell the flower.

When Cooper smells the roses, he smells the roots.  It must be a dog thing.

Plucking Cooper's Ears

It's amazing to me how much hair Cooper gets in his ears.  I hate to pluck the hair out but he clearly needed his ears cleaned out.

It doesn't hurt him.  He doesn't wimper or cry at all.

Just check out these pictures.  He was so good.  It only took a few minutes for each ear.

Cooper And Ellie Eat Ice Cream

We had a birthday party at my house.  As usual, at birthday parties, most people eat cake and Ice cream.  Well, Cooper and Ellie got their share of Ice cream too.

They TOTALLY enjoyed their treat.  Ellie put her paw on the plate to keep it still.  Cooper chased his all around the kitchen floor.

It was so much fun to watch them.

The Traveling Trio

Here we are.  The traveling trio.

Lisa on the bike in front of me
Cooper (barely visible in my mirror) behind me...

With Lisa in front of me and Cooper behind me... it was a great trip.

Our grand total in miles this time is 2,175 miles.  We rode every mile of it together.  Lisa's trip was a little longer than ours since she came from Maine.  It was such a great trip.  I would love to go again.

Loving This Shaded Rest Stop

This was a nice place to take a break.  It was really warm trip so we frequently needed a cool place to stop.  We enjoyed any shaded place we could relax.

Sometimes Cooper prefers to stay on the bike.  I'm not really sure why.

Either way.  It's fine by me.  He usually gets to do a lot of what he wants.

He's a lucky boy.

Ready To Ride

Cooper's always ready to ride.  He'll wait...

and wait...

and wait...

and wait...

...and wait for us to get ourselves together.
