1st Group Ride 2016

What a LONG TIME we have waited to be able to ride with our friends.

We had a nice day near 60º.

Who could resist going to our event on our bikes?

What a GREAT DAY!

Flag Line

Patriot Riders did a flag line for a Vietnam Veteran who passed away.

He was a friend of one of our members and had asked for the honor of a flag line and a motorcycle escort at his services.

We were so proud to honor him with this gesture.

Cooper was PERFECTLY well behaved.

Some people benefited from him being there.

It was a nice distraction from the sadness that goes along with having to attend a wake.

Visited School

On our last visit to school the kids were so excited to see Cooper.

This time the kids were out on a field drip.

Cooper was clearly bored and just watching the door.

I think he was hoping for the kids to return.

PT

I have to go to Physical Therapy twice a week now since my cast came off.

So when I’m working…

He’s doing THIS…

Waiting.   Such a good dog.

Kind Of Likes The Back Seat

In my smart car I didn’t have a back seat.

In a couple of loaner cars I have had while my smart car was in for repair, there was a back seat and Cooper liked to go back there.

Now I have a back seat in my new car.

Cooper seems to like to go back there sometimes.  

He seems to like it sometimes.

Napping With Alex

Cooper is very comfortable in these arms.

He’s so comfortable he is considering napping right right there.

His eyes got heavy and everything.

But I don’t think it was easy for Alex to doze off while still holding him up.

So they ended up like this and both did fall asleep.

Getting It Out Of His System

He’s crazy!  That's all I can say.

He has to run like a lunatic and roll in new fallen snow every time it snows.  EVERY TIME!!!

A Friend

I have toys at my house for when the grand kids come to visit.

One of the toys is this stuffed rocking horse.   It’s been here for a LONG TIME.

Cooper is so funny… after all these years he decides to check him out.  Almost as if he’s meeting this guy for the first time.

Pancake Breakfast '16

What better way to raise funds for our veterans than a Pancake Breakfast?

What better way to see friends in the winter when the bikes are all put away and the bikers are all missing their friends?

She's On My Spot

Cooper seems to think he is supposed to have any lap he wants.

Babies cramp his style a little bit.

He likes them but they sit where he wants to sit.

And he’s not quite sure what to do about it.

Went For A Visit To School

We went to visit my classroom when I was out with a broken ankle.

My kids loved seeing me but Cooper was a HIT!

They loved having him in the classroom.

We only stayed but about 20 minutes, but it was good for everyone.

More Snow Silliness

Cooper loves the new fallen snow…  I like the warm house.

I’m glad for the storm door.   I get plenty of video to show to you.

Snow Faced

Here is the result of Cooper’s snow play.

And he has to get in the tub to have the snow melted off him with warm water.  He loves this process.

Running Is More Fun In The Snow

Cooper loves new fallen snow.

He goes out several times per day, but when the snow is fresh is his FAVORITE!!!

Riding With A Broken Ankle - Part 4

I saved the best pictures for last.

Here at the pictures I could get with Cooper in the mirrors.

He was on his feet for most of the ride.

Nose in the air, especially near water and in the woods.

We were only out for a couple of hours.  But after being laid up for two months with a broken ankle, we really needed this.

Riding With A Broken Ankle - Part 3

We rode a familiar windy scenic road near home.  

I think I should have taken the decals off my wind shield before this ride.

We rode to about Three towns away before we turned around.

I did say I wouldn’t be long…

But with Cooper’s nose the air and my knees in the breeze… who could go home?

Every time I got close to home I would take the long way.

It turned out we were out for about twice as long as I intended.

Might be time to take off all these decals

No complaints from either of us.
