Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Winter Blues Bash 6 - Warren

Cooper is very comfortable with Warren.   He looks to Warren sometimes for reassurance when he's not sure what's next.

Warren understands Cooper's training and his cue words, so Cooper is very well behaved for him now too.

Don't you think they look comfortable together?

Winter Blues Bash 5 - Lovin' The Ladies

Cooper and his Aunties.  He loves his girls!

Whenever he sees Mo, he snuggles up to her.  It's something that has always been.

We recently found out that we have 2 ladies in our immediate circle of riding buddies that are VERY close neighbors with us, so we should see each other frequently as the weather improves.

Wendy...

and Elisa (one of Cooper's favorites this year)...

Here are a few of the other ladies I'm sure we'll see again.

Winter Blues Bash 4 - Jimi

Cooper LOVES his Uncle Jimi.

When Jimi sat down and picked him up, Cooper rolled all over in his arms for a few minutes.

Jimi would walk around and come back to the table over and over again.

Cooper greeted him each time as if he saw him for the first time.

Winter Blues Bash 3 - Fun With Balloons

Yeah... this was another thing that was more for my amusement than Cooper's.

He loves balloons, but he would rather chase them around the floor and pop them.

Winter Blues Bash 2 - Cut Out

The theme of the Winter Blues Bash this year was Duck Dynasty.

They had a cut out that I had to look through with Cooper.

He wasn't amused.

Winter Blues Bash 1 - Lap Serfing

Cooper knows he can't get on the floor when we're at a benefit.  I trained him to stay on a chair, that way he won't get on his nose and travel to where his sniffer takes him.

SO... the smart boy that he is... he found a way to make it around the room without breaking the rules.

Sometimes I allow it.  He always looks back to see if it's ok.

What a popular boy.

Goode Benefit - Part 3

Of course... after the meal Cooper gets his little bit of chicken too.

Usually I go outside to feed him but sometime I feed him well after the meal is over.

you KNOW he can't sit still when he knows he'll get a taste of yummy chicken

I don't like him to know when.  It makes him better behaved.

Goode Benefit - Part 2

At the benefit, Cooper had visits from his fan club.

Everyone either knew Cooper or the wanted to know about him.  This is the norm for him.

Some got to know him better.

Some already know him well.

Goode Benefit - Part 1

This was a benefit we attended for two friends who hit gravel in the road and crashed their bike and were injured.

Jim and Katie.  Guests of Honor

The woman was lucky.  She jammed her shoulder and either broke or dislocated her collar bone.  The man sustained a head injury and was in a coma for a week.  They are both lucky to be alive.

Imagine the household expenses just from both being out of work as they recover from their injuries.  Then pile medical bills on top of that.  They needed help.

Patriot Riders in attendance:
Karen, Warren, Me and Cooper

SO... true to our biker community, we threw them a bash and raised money to help them out.  It was a great party and SO WONDERFUL to see them looking SO GOOD!

Cooper had a social life going on behind me

Jealous Boy

This is Cooper being jealous.

I think he's trying to figure out how to get into the hug between me and my boyfriend.  :)

Cooper Tugs With Logan In 2010

I found this in an old phone.  It's taken over two years ago.  My grand son Logan was just learning how to play tug-of-war with Cooper.

This was the last time Cooper had short hair like he has now.  So in the next couple of years his mop top will probably need to be cut again like I did it this year.

Hanging Out With Justin

One of our roommates that lives with us has become one of Cooper's favorite people.

Sometimes Cooper goes into his room to hang out.

I got these pictures via text while Cooper was up in his room.  He's so comfortable up there.

Playing With The Paddle... Lunatic!

Well, the paddle is fun too ...  IF it's  in someone's hand.

He really got wound up.  If I didn't record these  moments I really don't think anyone would ever believe how much fun he really can be.

Barking At The Paddle Ball

When Cooper finds something that really entertains me I have a hard time figuring out what you would like to see and how much is too much.

This is the same as the last few days but he kept doing funny stuff so I made them into more posts.  I hope you like them.

Playing With The Ball

It's so funny to watch Cooper with the ball from the paddle ball game.

It's like a super ball and kept getting stuck on his tooth when he chewed it.

Paddle Ball

I got some paddle ball games for my grand kids.

Cooper found them and because they had a ball in the package, he REALLY wanted one of these toys.

I allowed him to have one of them.

You can see here that he opened the package...

Pulled on the ball with the string connected.

I took the ball off the string so he could play with the ball.

Now I have to find a new use for the paddle.  He really has no interest in that.
