Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

To Dinner With The Neighbors

Every so often we go to dinner with our next door neighbors.

They always drive because We don't have a back seat in our vehicles.

Cooper always comes too, but this time Gabrielle walked over too.  I think she wanted to come.

She was still there when we got back.  She and Cooper investigated their yard.  Gabrielle gets to do it all the time, but this is new for Cooper.

Chilly Boy

Cooper got his spring hair cut before the last of the chilly days.

I forgot to bring his sweat shirt with us when I went to Andy's.

Cooper was shivering and trying to stay warm.

I'm glad I had a sweat shirt in the car.

Cooper is too.

Spring Hair Cut

Spring has sprung.  We made it through the winter once again.

Cooper's hair was so long and heavy that he didn't even want to jump up on the bed any more.

I gave him a bath before I cut it, then cut his hair while it was still wet.  Believe it or not, it was MUCH easier to get the scissors through his hair without risk of cutting his skin this way.

Go figure... it only took me 6 years to figure that out.

Cooper's Teeth

A dental appointment isn't too far in the future.

I should brush his teeth more,

but brushing a dog's teeth is not something that comes natural to me.

I've recently found a new vet and will bring him there to get his teeth cleaned within the next few months.

I don't think Cooper will be happy about it.

Getting On The Hammock

My hammock...

We love my hammock...

Cooper waits to see how long I'm going to stay out there because sometimes it's just a quick treat for me.

Once he has decided he'll join me he tries to jump up.

Sometimes he misses. (haha)

Riding The Twigs

Everything is a game to Cooper.

He makes yard work fun.

He makes yard work entertaining to all the neighbors too.

This day he rode the twigs in the wheel barrow,

barking loud.

The whole neighborhood might have taken notice.

Yard Work Is Never Done

I've been doing the yard work slowly.  A little at a time.

Cooper is happy to help.

See how much he helps?

Snuggling Close

These aren't very good pictures,

but he's just so snuggly that I couldn't get up to turn a light on to help take a better picture.

I love when he's like this.

Mini Bikes Rule

When we went to get inspection stickers on our bikes, Cooper was happy to wait our turn.

He was also happy to try out this mini bike on for size.

Inspection Stickers

Here's Cooper waiting our turn to get the bike inspected.

We have to get a sticker every year and these folks know us well.

It sure was a chilly wait.

Relaxing By The Fire

I really enjoy sitting by the fire.  I love my fire pit.  It's warm, calming and peaceful.

Look who came to sit with me...

They seem to enjoy the warmth too.

Gabrielle walked all the way around the fire before she came to sit on the log with me.

Cooper found a nice warm spot where the smoke went over him rather than in his face.

They made my experience even more pleasant.

My two favorite four legged friends quietly keeping me company by the fire... yup... this is love.

Blown Dry

Last time I gave Cooper a bath he got a little chilly.  He actually laid on the couch next to me shivering.

I felt so bad to see him uncomfortable like that.  I tried covering him with a blanket.

But he would never dry that way and he was still shivering.

So I kept the blanket on him a little bit, and laid a hair drier on the couch facing him.

It wasn't long before he wasn't shivering any more.  He really enjoyed being dried.

He let me dry his whole body.  Even his neck.  The only place he wasn't really happy about being dried was his face.

So I dried the rest of him and left his face alone.
