Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Sensitive Stomach Blues

Well… For most of Cooper’s life he has had a very sensitive belly.

We had a 2 week touch and go when the little guy needed some tender loving care.

As I write this now, Cooper is in very good shape.  We are trying meds to keep his belly calm and it seems to be working well.

Bed Time Snuggles

There isn’t much I like more than snuggle time with my sleepy boy.

He seldom sleeps face to face with anyone.

This day he was so sweet.

I’ll cherish this feeling for ever.

Eager To Go!

Cooper seemed really eager to go on this run.

Happy to be on the bike and eager to go!

Battleship Cove Pin

After the ceremony we were shopping in the gift shop when one of the directors came over to meet Cooper.

I told him about him and what he does.  He was so impressed that he gave him a pin from the gift shop.

I’m going to put the pin on Cooper’s vest as soon as I can get a pin saver to make sure he won’t lose it.

Battleship Cove - Our Group

This is the group of Patriot Riders who attended the POW/MIA chair dedication at Battleship Cove.

I know the pictures are a little dark, but we’re all in there… including Cooper.

Battleship Cove - The Escort

We were asked by Rolling Thunder MA Chapter 2 to escort their run to Battleship Cove to dedicate a POW/MIA Chair to the ship.

We’re so honored to do these kinds of things.

Cooper has no idea what patriotism is, but he is TRULY involved in a great and positive way.

Patriotic Pair

My daughter thinks maybe her newly colored RED will go well with Cooper’s White and Blue… making them a Patriotic Pair.

What do you think?  Yes?  No?  Hmmmm…

The PERFECT Denim Jacket

I’ve been looking for the perfect denim jacket for Cooper so I can put some of his best patches on it.

My friend found one and got them for her dogs.

It’s a good thing Cooper isn’t any bigger than he is because I got the biggest size for him and it’s PERFECT!!!

I can’t wait to figure out which patches to put on it and where.

This will be a work in progress.  I’ll update when I get a few patches on it.

Long Box Part 2

Getting Cooper to want to go THROUGH the box was tricky.  It was a long walk to get to the end so he was a little un-willing to do it.

But with some coaxing… there he goes!!!

Long Box - Part 1

This boy cracks me up!  We get a delivery in a long cardboard box, and all of a sudden it’s play time.

I’m just really glad my roommate was there to get it all on video.  Here is one of them.

Old Dunk Tank Pic

I came across this picture.  I don’t know when it was but I remember the ride.  This police officer was sitting in a dunk tank and Cooper sat with him.  He wanted to swim in the tank.

The ride was to raise money to put bullet proof vests on police and military dogs.  What a great day this was.

Smooch A Pooch

Last week we went to a farmers market in my town.

Farmers markets have changed.  Most of the booths were for some organization… like the local animal shelter.

They set up a “Smooch A Pooch” booth to raise money for the shelter.

They had some dogs at the booth that were ready to be adopted.

Cooper loved them all.

Ride To Beach 4 - Walking The Wall

It’s a good walk if you just walk the whole length of this wall.

So many people to meet and smells to smell.

He is so confident and independent sometimes.

Other times he’s very nervous and clingy.  I love him BOTH ways.

Ride To The Beach 3 - Sitting With THIS Guy

This man was riding a motorcycle too.

Cooper seemed to just want to sit with him.

Like he was saying, “I can tell you’re one of us… what’s up?”

Ride To The Beach 2 - Meeting The Bicycle Lady

Cooper walked along the wall and a woman who had been there with her bike came over to meet Cooper.

He liked her bike but it was clearly less appealing then if it were a motorcycle.

He prefers bikes with big comfie seats.

Ride To The Beach 1

We took a ride to go to lunch last weekend, but where we wanted to eat was closed so we hung out at the beach for a little while.

I put Cooper up on the wall because it keeps him off the parking lot so he won’t go far… so I thought.

The next few days will show you what he did.

Not So Small

Look what I pulled up next to with my little smart car.

My car may not be very long but it’s taller than this car by a LOT.

It’s fun to pose Cooper here just to show you the comparison of these two cars.

It doesn’t have to be about him to include him, right?

Toy Bike at Bike Night

Here we are at another bike night as we are every Thursday night.

Bikes are all lined up with each other.

This allows people to walk along the bikes and check them all out.

But check out the little red bike right in the center of all the big bikes.

What do you think?

Cute Cooper sized bike?

He actually checked it out a little bit as if he wanted to jump on it but couldn’t figure out how.

These pictures make blogging fun.

Cool Drawing

This was a cool thing facebook offered.  You submit a picture to their app and it turns it into a drawing.

I really like how this came out.

Cool New Chair

I found the perfect chair to carry in our bikes.

This chair folds down into a little pouch that easily fits into the side bags or trunk of my bike.

It’s strong enough to hold a 250 pound adult...

… or a possessive 22 pound Cooper.

Ed's Party

Once a year Ed and his daughter Amanda have a HUGE party.

We went with the intention of only going for a couple hours.

We had such a nice time we stayed for about 5 hours.

Cooper was happy to lay across my lap all night and get some attention occasionally from friends.

They made a table for guests to sigh, which they then would seal with polyurethane.  We signed the table… even Cooper.
