Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Gramma In The Hospital

My mom went to the hospital because she hurt herself.

She had to stay over night.

When I went to visit her all Cooper wanted to do was snuggle with her.

No surprise there.

Lil Jesse

I can’t resist taking pictures of these two when they get together.

They are about the same age, so as they grow it’s like a time line for Cooper because Jesse is the one who continues to look older with each time they get together.

One Of The Family

We had such a great time at this party.  The only thing I wish I had gotten was a group picture of all the other dogs.

Cooper was one of 6 of the dogs at the party, but most importantly, he's part of the family.

Lifting The Smart Car

We went to a party in NY while we were there.

There were lots of family members there.

Everyone gets a kick out of my car.

 They couldn’t help themselves.

You know what everyone wants to do…

Pick it up.

So they did.

Visiting Jessica

We slept at Jessica’s house the first night.

She has two dogs that didn’t want anything to do with being social with Cooper.

They didn’t like him in their house.

But everyone else LOVED having us there.

Jessica calls Cooper her little brother.

Daddy And Opie

When we got to our destination there was ANOTHER DOG!

This one we visited with a couple years ago.  His name is Opie.

He’s a good friend.

He runs and hops a lot but mostly Cooper likes him a lot.

He’s fun to play with.

Dogs At The Rest Stop

Rest stops are a wonderful place to meet other traveling dogs.

Cooper got to meet and socialize with a 10 week old puppy.

This little guy was already bigger than Cooper.

Then he got to meet this other dog who was about 7 years old.

They were also about the same size.

What a great day.

With Daddy At The Rest Stop

We drove Daddy to NY to his daughter’s house.

The ride was wonderful.

Cooper took turns sitting on each of us all the way on the 9 hour ride.

Stopping at a rest stop gave cooper the chance to pee...

...but he would always return to Daddy’s lap.

Visiting With Daddy

We had the best visits this summer.  Jesse came to see us after being in AZ for the last few years.

Jesse is Daddy to Cooper.  He was there from puppyhood through his first 8 years of life.  It was a great reunion where we got to spend hours together.

Clapping Cooper

I loved this.

My friend sent it to me from Andy’s birthday party.

Monti's Run 2017

Here we are at Monti’s run again this year.

We seldom miss this run.    It means a lot to us to attend and show our support.

You can see Cooper laying in the shade.  It was a really hot this day.
We Listen to the singing of The Atar Spangled Banner.  Then there is a pre ride prayer.  And then we ride.

Cooper is so well behaved during all this.  The only time he isn’t quiet and respectful of any of that is when someone is paying more attention to him than prayer or patriotism.

This is a view looking down from the ladder truck that comes in to fly the flag for this event.

Very cool, but most of the bikes are hidden by the flag.

See That Cat?

See that cat?

Cooper does.

He knows he’s not going to be allowed to chase it.

So what you can’t tell about this picture is…

… he is whining as he watches that cat sleek through the yard… UNchased.

Cooper will have his chance another day when I’m not watching.  Guaranteed.

Standing There Just Looking

Did you ever feel like someone was looking at you?

At Andy’s I sit with Andy and Cooper hangs out at the kitchen table.

He usually lays on a chair under the table and sleeps.

This day he was on his feet and looking at me for, who knows how long?

I don’t know what he wanted or why he wouldn’t lay down even after I told him to.

Very strange behavior for Cooper.
