Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Hanging Out With Our Peeps

Sometimes our friends come visit if they're out riding their motorcycles.

We were home doing some work at the house and we heard bikes arrive.

Cooper loves that sound.

He know life is about to get fun.

My Accident - Well Deserved For Cooper

My Daughter always goes a little over the top to make Cooper happy.

A well deserved massage.  A happy boy.  A great reward for a very patient boy.

My Accident - Bath Time

Before my accident I had been waiting to give him a bath.  I wanted to color his hair and give him a good bath right before his birthday.

Since my plans never happened, my daughter came over to shower him because he was actually so dirty he started to stink.

I think he's much happier when he's clean.

My Accident - Devils Tails

This sometimes happens when Cooper goes out to pee.

Somewhere there is a bush with "Devils Tails" in it.

If I don't get them out quickly they really get buried into his hair.

So I pick them out one by one before we can snuggle again.

My Accident - Time To Eat

When I first got home, Cooper decided he wanted to eat in the same room as me.

I don't think he was happy about my being in the hospital for a few days.

Here is a meal he ate right on top of me.

I'm happy to help him with his comfort level but this is a bit odd.

My Accident - More Laying Around

So since I got home from the hospital, I've spent my days and nights on the couch.

Cooper spends his days and nights either on the couch with me or on the floor on his bed in front of me.

He's such great company.

He knows just how to move around me while not hurting me at all.

It seems to me he's quite adapted at the art of cuddling.

My Accident - Finally Home

When I finally got home from the hospital, I set up in the living room.

I took over the room so I wouldn't be shut in my room upstairs.

Cooper was very happy to be in the living room with me.

He will either lay on the floor on his bed in front of me...

Or he'll snuggle next to my broken foot.

My Accident - Face Time

Wanna know how sappy I am with my dog?  We face timed to calm him down when he was staying with my daughter while I was in the hospital.

How many people have you ever known  to face time?  Well  Cooper has.

My Accident - Lunch With Mama

Cooper didn't want to eat very well at first when he went to stay with my daughter.

She brought him to visit me and had some of his food with her.

I was able to add some of my soup to his food and he ate really well for me.

My Accident - Perfect Boy

At the hospital, Cooper was the perfect boy as he always is.

My son came to the hospital and took over with Cooper until My daughter was able to get there.

My Accident - Ambulance

Four years ago Cooper and I were in a car accident.  Well it happened again.

Here we are going to the hospital by ambulance.  I have a broken foot and fractured wrist.  Cooper wasn't hurt.  He was wearing his seat belt and harness.

Refuses To Eat - Video

Sometimes Cooper won't eat.  It's important that he eat at least every 8 hours.  If he's only nibbling food he has to eat even more frequently than that.  This was after one of his most recent bad belly aches where he had diarrhea and didn't want to eat.

So here he has a little dog food but also boiled chicken and rice.  He will fake eat now.  But he knows I expect him to swallow some.  On this video, he didn't swallow any.  After I shut off the camera he took me a little more seriously and actually ate a little.

Happy 13th Birthday Cooper!

This has been a tough year for us.

But it did provide irreplaceable memories,

Some great pictures,

And some aspirations for our future.  Happy Birthday Cooper.  I love our life.

Plymouth Parade '19 - 3 A Good Spot

Plymouth Waterfront in our usual spot after the parade.

This seems like such a distant memory now and it was only July.

We love summer days!

Pymouth Parade '19 - 2 The Parade

These are some random parade pictures I was able to collect from facebook.

You can't see Cooper very well in any of these pictures.

Can you see me?  Far left in each picture, except for the next one.

Here is the back of the group.  I really love this picture because I seldom see the group from this perspective.

Here is the ONLY picture in this group where you can see Cooper behind me.

Plymouth Parade '19 - 1 Staging

This was in July

The Independence Day Parade.

Staging is always fun because we see a lot of people we seldom ever see.

Here We Go Again

Another car accident.

I’m not happy.

But Cooper had his seatbelt on so he wasn’t hurt.

Thank God!
