Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Videos Of Playing With The Kids

This was the day after our first big snow.  The kids came to play in the back yard with Cooper.

They had such fun in the snow.

Cooper just loved having the kids and my daughter out there with him.

A winter wonderland provided by Mother Nature herself.  Little did we know who much MORE SNOW we were going to get.

Broke Down In The Blizzard 2015

Well, it’s bound to happen sometimes.  But in a blizzard???

I was trying to get to work on Monday afternoon before the blizzard got too bad.  I had planned it so we would be home before the driving ban was put into place.

I had put my smart car in the garage and I filled the tank of my truck with every intention of using the truck until the roads cleared up some.

Well, the truck broke down on my way to work.  We were stuck in the break down lane on the high way so I called 911.

A road side assistance truck came to stay with me with his big lights so you could see me.  Then the tow truck came to load my truck on the flat bed and bring me home.

This whole scenario didn’t make me happy, but Cooper thought it was just another adventure.  He laid down in the tow truck as if he’d done it a hundred times before.

Race Track For Cooper

Warren buys things to fix up and sell.  He had a snow blower that he was testing out, so he made a little track in the back yard.

Cooper liked the smells of the soil being turned up a little.  He walked the whole length of the ‘track’ with his nose to the ground.  Anything that keeps him happy… right?

Blizzard 2015 - As Cooper Sees It

Now THAT’S a lot of snow!

Cooper would get lost in that amount of snow, but he REALLY wants to get out there and play with that big snow blower.

He watched out the storm door…

He looked out the window…

Back and forth while our neighbor was our there with the snow blower.

I’ll take him out and get some really good video of him playing in the snow.

NY - The View From The 6th Floor

Here’s where we stayed with Pete.

His apartment is one bedroom and a kitchenette.

Comfortable and warm.

And the view outside his window is a combination of City and history.

You can see the locks (what Lockport is named for) from his window.

We had a nice flurry too.

It was just a really nice vacation, even if it was only a few days.

NY - Where We Pee

When we visit Pete, Cooper has to be on leash until we get outside.

We get in the elevator and go to the basement level and out a door down there to a nice little fenced in area.

I let him wander off leash when he has to go.  I can always let him off leash but people feel better when I have him on leash.  Most people don’t know a well behaved dog like him so they expect the worst.

NY - Opie and Cooper Video

Check out the video of Cooper and Opie.

They were SO CUTE!  Cooper had a ton of energy and Opie seemed to not know what to do with Cooper.

NY - Opie

Visiting Crystal and the kids was an adventure.

They were moving out of state, so packing up the whole house while we visited.

They have a dog named Opie.

Look how cute they are together.

It’s their first encounter, but I think they will remember each other when they see each other again.

They live in North Carolina now.  Maybe we’ll see them this summer if our motorcycle trip takes us down in that direction again.

NY - Watching Jeff Dunham at Pete's

Pete and I decided to watch a comedy show, Jeff Dunham.

It was like our own personal little movie theater.

Pete in his bed, I had my own seat and Cooper had a chair to himself too.

A Cooper approved, nice quiet ‘day after a long ride’ thing to do.

NY - Wanna Go To Bed

Here he is.  After a busy day of traveling etc, he just wanted to go to bed.

I kind of agreed with him on this day.

He was really persuasive as you can see.

Who can resist this adorable boy?

NY - Fish Tank at Pete's

Cooper is a very curious boy.

Pete has a fish tank at his house and our bed was set up right next to it.

Cooper caught sight of the fish swimming around and was immediately interested in them.

He couldn’t smell anything when he sniffed but I don’t think he can help himself.

He’s so cute in his innocent curiosity.

I wonder what he would do if he got to play with a fish.

I don’t think the fish would like ANY game Cooper might want to play.

NY - Snuggle With Pete

Cooper loves to snuggle.

Pete is the perfect candidate to cuddle with because he’s in bed most of the time.

Pete misses having dogs so when Cooper comes to visit it’s a real treat for Pete.

He can’t get right up to Pete and lay beside him because Pete’s table is in the way.

He’s happy laying between his legs though.  It’s a nice vacation for Cooper.
