Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

2011 Memory Series - Running From Another Storm

Here's another storm.

A BIG ONE!

We tried to keep turning away from it as it traveled across the sky.

But it was so big and was moving so fast that we eventually got wet.

Good thing for rain gear.

2011 Memory Series - Stuck In The Hotel

We were about ready to check out but this storm hit fast.

We couldn't go anywhere with the down pour.

Cooper enjoyed watching the rain from the window.

He doesn't mind running in the rain but when it comes down this hard I'm sure he would run for cover if he were out there in it.

Our gear was mostly water proof so non got soaked.

Except Jesse's helmet.  He forgot it and left it hanging on his handle bar.

It filed with water till it couldn't hold another drop.

2011 Memory Series: Running From A Storm

We ran from this storm.

With the wide open skies you could see them coming so we would turn in the direction away from the storm any chance we had.

We did our best on this one but the storm caught up with us.

Good thing for rain gear.  We all had time to put it on.

Cooper hates his rain gear but it's better than getting drenched to the skin.

2011 Memory Series: Storm Coming

This happened all too frequently.  We had to run from storms and sometimes if we couldn't outrun them we had to pull off and let the storm go by.

In this picture you can see the storm moving in.  They move out just as quickly.

2011 Memory Series: Pacific Coast Highway

This is one of those times that there was such beautiful scenery that I couldn't put the camera down.

On the cliffs
So I'm going to post them all and if there is something to tell you about I'll write a caption.  Just enjoy.

Traveling North

He was most interested in the smells and scenery than posing for a picture for me.

I hated putting him on the cliff so I had his leash on his collar and his harness and I held on TIGHT!!
My rear view mirror was the perfect frame

Look at that cloud!
