Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Storm Coming In

Look how pink Cooper looks.

It's from the sun set.

There was a storm coming in so he was out there sniffing the air.

Look how pretty the sky was.

My flag was busy keeping up with the wind.

Remembering CA

In 2011, about 4 months after I started writing this blog, we did a cross country trip on the motorcycles.

The man I was with at the time is Cooper's "Daddy".

The trip brought us all over the United States.

One of the states was California, to an event for Women On Wheels.  The main organization we rode with.

Members from all chapters from all over the United States came to this national event.

Video was taken of the parade of bikes right near the hotel.

These are screen shots of that video.

The blue circle is me and Cooper... The green circle is Cooper's Daddy.

Mama! Stop Talking

I was standing in my yard talking to my neighbor.

Cooper is usually ok with me being social.

He likes our neighbors.

But when I get long winded he gets less and less patient.

Then he begins to bark a little bit.

Not enough to get into trouble... Just enough to hurry me along a little bit.

That Face

I love this face.  Right now Cooper's hair is very light blue.  Almost white.

It's almost time to color it blue again.  He needs to be ready for his 13th birthday in a few weeks.

Another Facebook Memory - Dunk Tank

This came up in my facebook memories too.  This was a great cause to raise funds to buy vests for K9s on the police force.

Cooper got to pose it in a dunk tank, but he came back to me before the officer got dunked.

5 Hours

We recently had a great day on the bike.

We rode for a couple hours and took a break.

Then rode for an hour and took a break.

Then we had lunch.

Then we rode for a couple more hours.

Taking a break feels great... and it gives me all these great pictures to show you!!!

Doggy Date

Cooper and Ibbie go out together to pee maybe once a week when Ibbie's dad isn't home from work early enough.

Cooper is really happy to help me take her out.

It's fun for Ibbie too.

They take turns peeing on each other's spots.

I guess if dogs dated this would be what it would look like.

Who's Looking At Me?

Cooper rolls around in the blankets and messes them all up.

I have a sock monkey I use to prop my arm on when my shoulder hurts.

I didn't pay attention to Cooper's antics when he was rolling around on the bed messing up the blankets...

But this is what I saw when I turned around.

I Know Where You Went

We were at a party and we brought the RV to stay over night.

At one point I went inside to get something and I looked out the window.  He seemed to be looking RIGHT AT ME!

Bored To Sleep

Cooper was so bored he couldn't keep his eyes open.  Sleep is a great remedy for boredom!

I Wanna Come Out Please

There is only so long he's willing to politely wait to be noticed before he has to do something about it.

Returning Cans With August

My grandson August had a great time with this chore.

Cooper is familiar with this because we do it a few times per year.

With a comfortable carriage to hang out in, he's happy.

I won't let him walk on the floor in case of broken glass, so he gets the kings seat.

Bolton Faire 9 - The Chainsaw Guy

Cooper doesn't get the artistic talent of a guy who can make statues out of logs with a chain saw.

But he's interested in watching and smelling.

When I see talent like this I'm so tempted to have someone do a carving of Cooper.  This guy would have charged probably about $300 for a life size statue of Cooper.

Bolton Faire 8 - Dog Friends

These dogs were in the Spinning tent.

They were hanging out with their owners who all spin yarn out of different kinds of materials.

Wool, alpaca and even dog hair.

The smells were great, but the other dogs didn't want to let him investigate.
