Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Some Of Cooper's Favorite Christmas Things

On Christmas, Cooper had some favorite gifts.

They weren't all his,

but no one tells him he can't claim things if he wanted to use.

He really enjoyed Christmas this year.

Building A Fire With Logan, Kyra and Cooper

When the house got a little chilly it was time to make a fire in the furnace.  Cooper always has to get in the middle of everything when we build a fire.

This time Logan and Kyra wanted to see this time too.

Santa Paws - 4

This blanket is not Cooper's gift.  When I held it up he shows total interest in it.

Yup... Total interest.

Santa Paws - 3

Cooper got a fun toy for Christmas.  It had a few different things all combined into one fun toy.

As he was opening it he bit a squeaky part.  He LOVES squeaks.

Santa Paws - 2

Santa Paws opened a gift of his choice.

It wasn't his gift.  It belonged to my daughter Desiree.

Since Cooper couldn't read her name, he got away with it.

We just sat back and laughed and took pictures to show to you.  :)

Santa Paws - 1

Santa Paws has visited my house.

He comes to make sure the gifts are properly wrapped and labeled.

What a fun dog Cooper is at Christmas.

He picked out a gift to open even though it wasn't his.

No one really minds if he opens their gifts.

It's really very funny when he does.

Even Gabrielle gets in on the fun sometimes.

Small Town Street

We live in a very old town in Massachusetts that was settled in 1661.

Some of the streets and architecture are very old.  Going to the center of town looks like a Norman Rockwell photo.

Seeing Santa on the side walk in the show was heart warming.

Cooper was very interested.

When I waved to him, he spoke two simple words in his deep voice.

"Merry Christmas"

Weird Position

I don't remember what circumstances surrounded this, but Cooper was clingy.

He laid on my lap and buried his head.

What a way to sleep.

Wha-Cha-Doin' Down There?

I was stoking the wood furnace and my daughter was sitting at the top of the cellar stairs talking to me.

It didn't take Cooper long to wonder what we were talking about.  Sometimes I wonder if he understands what we're saying.

After Placing Flags, It Snowed

If one thinks the cemetery was beautiful after we placed all those flags on the graves of our fallen soldiers...

Look at how beautiful it was after a light dusting of snow.

Cooper Would Rather Be Down There

Sometimes I just test Cooper's training a little bit.  I like to make sure he realizes that no matter what, rules are rules.

He really wanted to get down and sniff this friendly looking dog, but I told him 'no'.

I feel like it's really important for him to be flawless in following the rules.  With us being in all kinds of interesting places with great things to see, he NEEDS to know he is to stay where he is told to stay.

Otherwise he could run into a bad situation before I could stop him.  This would be unacceptable to me.  I love Cooper.  If I have to be 'mean' to him once in a while to make sure his training is sure, I'll do it with confidence.

A Ride To Colt State Park

A wonderful ride to Colt State Park in RI was a perfect end to a really nice fall day.

This ride was a while ago, but I can almost still feel the wind on my face.

Cooper liked the smells because of the water and all the other people who were there too.

Helping Shannon Move

He loves to come with us, but he HATES to have to stay in the truck while we load and unload it.

I keep the doors open so he can see what's going on, but I don't let him get out.

Dominic's Truck

So I had my guy Dominic come over again with his wood splitter earlier this month.  As usual, Cooper stayed in the middle of everything as we split firewood.

He had to be involved to the very last minute.

Posing With Auntie Karen

Cooper loves to sit on people's laps.  Santa is the perfect lap.

One of his favorite Aunties wanted to pose for a picture.

I was going to take him off Santa's lap but I was quickly corrected.  Cooper could stay for the pictures.

I love that he's so welcome.

Helping Sew On Patches

I got patched as a member of the Patriot Riders Of America Mass Chapter 5.

I had to put the patches on my vest, so I collected all the patches...

Placed them where I want them on my vest...

...but notice all the help I get.  Wether I want it or not.  I love my fur family.
