Same Old Routine

Cooper knows this routine well.  

We do it at least three times per year.

He gets his hair colored then goes for a shower.

People think he's abused or forced to do this, but I assure you... he isn't being abused.

He actually likes all the attention.

Not A Good Look

Brushing out Cooper's hair to get him ready to have his hair died makes him look like this.

Retirement Dinner

We went to a retirement party for a friend.

It was very informal with a lot of great friends.

Cooper loved the attention.

And also loved that I could spend the whole time snuggling with him.

Usually he has to behave and stay quiet and un noticed, but this time he was the focus of my attention.

Loving Donna

I don't remember why, but somehow Cooper decided Donna's feet were the place to be at a party we were at.

Donna LOVES Cooper.  She was glad to be his chosen person and spend some time with him.

I usually bring him a chair to sit in because when he's tired he can sit undesterbed.  Laying on the dirt isn't my favorite since he's white so he always was spoiled in that way.

Pretty Little Girl

This is a fairly common occurrence. We were at the local CVS and someone had a Bichon in the car with them.

People always ask if he's a Bichon because he is so big and because of his hair doo.

This little girl is a couple years older than Cooper and a LOT smaller.

Gotta Go Already?

I needed an inspection sticker on my car.

This is the waiting area.

Inspection stickers generally don't take long.

The car was ready, but Cooper wasn't.

Hiding Video

Cooper had found his way under a blanket.

He was doing really cute things and as soon as I started recording him... HE STOPPED!

Meat Raffle Time Again

At the VFW where we are members, they hold a Meat Raffle starting in September.

It's every other week till the Spring.

Our biker friends are there so it's like a big social thing for us and Cooper gets to sit with almost anyone he wants.

Krazy Days 2

We found our spot that was assigned to us so we could set up our table for the event I explained in yesterdays blog.

Cooper was happy to be part of this whole thing.

He got to meet people all day long.

He was petted a lot and he got to do a few tricks for people.

It was a warm day, but there was a good breeze.  We got to meet a lot of people and a few dogs.

Krazy Days 1

In our town there are 2 days per year we shut down most of the center of town and have vendors, games, a train ride and live bands playing.

This year our motorcycle group had a table so we can tell people about what we do.

Here's Cooper helping me register for that event.  He was polite and seemed to actually pay attention to the conversation.  

Favorite Lap

I never get sick of how cute Cooper is when he sits with Walt.

He's happy.

Content.

Comfortable.

Relaxed.

I need a lap like this.

Checking Out The Mobil Welding Trailer

Cooper needs to get into everything new.

Warren needed to get all his welding tools together in the trailer so he can go mobil and work out of the trailer.

If Cooper could have one good job here it would be 'Inspector'. 

No one would debate that either.  He's GOOD at it!

Snuggles With Sue

Cooper was visiting a sick friend.

He was so good about just settling in.

Not having been in this room before you would think he'd be all about sniffing, but he chose to snuggle in stead.

On The Porch

This is a great place to hang out with all our roommates.

Sometimes we sit around and just talk together.

Other times we all get out there to watch a good storm and the rainbow that comes after.

The only person missing is Tom.

Women On Wheels

I spent my first riding years in a group called "Women On Wheels".   A great group of wonderful ladies who just love to ride.

When I got Cooper he was loved by EVERYONE.  Recently I was at a local ride and there were a bunch of us there from the old group so we decided to take a picture.

  It was Awesome to see everyone!

Since She Was A Baby

Cooper has known this friends since she was a baby.

She rides on her mom's motorcycle now.

I wonder if he knows she is the same person he met 8 years ago who looked at him as he sniffed her in her baby seat.
