MomSouth Open House - Part 6

As we walked in we passed by a man who was making balloon animals.

The looked down at Cooper and said, "Hey! I can make a balloon to look like him!"

I smiled and said something.  I don't remember what.

When we were on our way out, I passed by the man again and he reached behind his case and pulled out a balloon that looked like Cooper!

Cooper is beginning to enjoy people his size.

He never liked children before,

Especially little ones.

But now since we've had our experience with my grand children...

... he's much more tolerant and less worried about what they will do.

We used to see her a lot.

Now when we see each other Cooper really enjoys some great attention.

Here is a huge Great Dane puppy that came to the open house too.

I think his name is Murdock.

He was only about 7 months old.

I hope we meet him again some day.

After he grows into his legs and his ears.

He'll be a beauty.

MomSouth Open House - Part 1

MomSouth is a huge motorcycle dealership.

When they have an open house, people come from all over.

Since it's largely an underground garage and a nice clean showroom floor upstairs, there are always a few other dogs there.

This dog is so handsome, and well behaved.

Cooper liked him very much.

Sound Asleep Video

I'm mentioned before how sometimes Cooper can be so sound asleep that I can pick him up and put him over my shoulder like a baby.

I got video of him being deep in sleep.  Though I didn't pick him up this time, you can see here how I could have if I had wanted to.

Mardi Gras Party - Part 4

King Cooper.

The king of the Mardi Gras party.

He looked so cute.

I wish I could show him pictures and know he can appreciate how cute he is.

That is not the part he would enjoy though.

He simply loves the social part and the attention.

Life is good no matter what for him.

Mardi Gras Party - Part 3

Here is a real treat that happens regularly.

Cooper gets between two people who talk to each other for a long and interesting conversation.

When this happens, usually one or both will absentmindedly pet Cooper while they chat.

Cooper sometimes seems to know something about the topic of conversation.

But I know the truth... he simply doesn't care what they're talking about as long as someone has the urge to pet him.

Marti Gras Party - Part 2

We found our table where we would sit with our friends.

Usually our friends will pull a chair over for Cooper to have his own.

If no one does that he tries to lay claim to where he wants to sit.

I can't tell you how many times he finds a chair he likes and we just sit around him.

He's a smart and independent boy.

Mardi Gras Party - part 1

When we arrived at the party we got to choose a sign to take a picture with.

Ours said, "Life of the party".

I don't know about me and Warren, but Cooper always proves to be the life of most parties.
