Bath In The Sink 2

Wet Dog!

He likes to roll on a towel we put on the floor.

Then he likes to lay on the couch so I have to bring two towels for the prince.  One for the floor and one for the couch.

 Since my accident it's hard to take Cooper in the shower with me.  

Not that he isn't cooperative... I just can't stay down that low for a long time because my foot won't support me.

So here we are, bathing in the sink.  Cooper doesn't care!  He's happy to be clean!

Playing In The Garage

We haven't spent much time in the garage in a while so Cooper was happy to explore.

He found some bucket seats from a car build.  They're going to go back in the car.  Cooper found a new use for them.

Waiting For Turkeys

If you look back a few days you'll see Cooper watching about 15 turkeys in the front yard of our friend's house.

As I moved in front to get his face he turned to look at me.

It took me a few minutes to get his attention back outside.

But look how cute he is looking through he chair.

Today was a beautiful day!

Some of our friends were out riding today... but not us.  My broken foot ins't ready quite yet.

Visited By Turkeys 2

If you saw yesterday's post you got to see a good picture of the turkeys that came while we visited a friend.

This video shows how intently Cooper watched them for a while.

While visiting a friend we were visited by a flock of 15 turkeys. 

Usually Cooper would bark but as he ages he becomes less riled up about seeing other animals.

Hot Tub Mistake

 The FUNNIEST thing happened!

We were in our new hot tub for the first time.

There are a couple steps to get into the tub.

Cooper had been running around the back yard.  

When he was done he came running up the stairs but didn't realize there was no top.

He landed right in the water!  I had to grab him quick and put him up on the side where he could stand.  SO FUNNY!!!!

Someone Is SO Ticklish

If he was a kid you could hear his laughter.  Since he's a dog, imagine his voice in kind of a growling voice going "aaaaaah... aaaaaah".  If he could laugh that is what it would sound like.

This Pictures Made It To Biker Vests

This picture was taken in Vermont. 

 

I used it to make his "Friends Of Cooper" patches.

I sold that patch all the way cross country and I still sell them now.

His Best Look

 I love this look.  Short hair on his body and Blue mop top!  

He Claimed It

I've had this chair since before I got Cooper.

When I bring it out Cooper claims it every time.  It's low to the ground and mesh on the bottom so it's cooler than most chairs... so I guess it's his now.

Loving

One of our friends who was staying with us for a while was one of Cooper's favorite people.

He usually isn't comfortable with people like he was with Alex.

Look how he just melts into his arms.

Just as comfortable as I've ever seen him with anyone besides me and just 2 other people.

Tub Time!

Someone loves a bath!

Even without water in the tub...

He will get in and just wait for the water to be added.

I found this cool app on my phone where you can take a picture and turn it into a pencil sketch.

This is almost like a coloring book page.

DIck's Sporting Goods - Big Fish Tank

There is a HUGE fish tank behind Cooper here.

I'm not sure if you can make out the fish in any of these pictures.

He never really showed any interest in the fish the whole time he was in front of the tank.

Which is probably a good thing.  Sometimes when he gets excited about things like this he barks.

I don't want him to bark at the fish while kids are trying to look at them.

It's a good thing he was more interested in posing for pictures.

Dick's Sporting Goods - Looking At Me

All I wanted to do is get Cooper to look at my phone for a nice picture.

But he looked at me rather than my phone I was holding at his level.

Cute pictures but not really what I wanted.

Dick's Sporting Goods - The Moose

We spent a few hours at Dick's Sporting Goods between doctor appointments.

Just killing time with Cooper and his buddy the moose.

He doesn't even pay attention to things like that any more.  When he was a puppy he wanted to sniff and growl a little bit.

Now that he's all grown up, he isn't afraid at all.

Balloon Ears

This was a LONG LONG time ago.

I think Cooper might have been 2 or 3 years old.  We were at a winter fund raiser with a bunch of other bikers.

Cooper wasn't a big fan of balloons.  He used to like to chase them around to pop them but then became less interested in them.  I guess posing with them is good.  

Puff Ball

 Cooper is VERY fluffy in the winter.  I leave his hair long to keep him warm.  

He looks like a hippie...

So much hair!

But look how handsome and gentle he looks with all that fluff.

Too True

I've loved all the dogs I've had.  Every one has been a member of our family.

But Cooper is my Favorite one of all!  I'm a lucky Dog Mom... Very lucky.

Summer Sailing

It's been quite a while since we've done anything like this.  

Not that we're not always game for this kind of thing... we just haven't in a long time.
