The ship we toured was the USS Massachusetts.
We had a short guided tour, then we were allowed to go all over the ship on our own.
This group is not my usual group of Patriot Riders of America MA Chapter 5, of which I am the secretary.
These are members of Rolling Thunder MA Chapter 2, a group we we work very closely with.
I was invited to tour this battleship with them because my group will be having a POW/MIA Chair and Table dedicated in the fall.
My group will be volunteering to help where ever needed on the day of that event so this tour was a real honor to have been invited to.
Cooper always does so well with following along and going with the flow.
Usually dogs are not allowed on these ships but since he is a service dog he went everywhere I went.
I’m so lucky to have him with me.
These are the things I might have missed out on if I didn’t have him with me.
