You see the Washington Memorial on movies all the time, or in books, or in vacation pictures your friends show you.
But then you get to see it in person and it changes everything.
Now when I see movies taken in this area I recognize it, and remember where all the things are that we saw on this trip.
I feel so patriotic having been there twice now and I really would love to go back and get a closer look at the memorial.
