Cooper seems to understand that when I pull out the air mattress we're going to have company. He gets all excited then jumps on the mattress and lays on it to wait. I think he lays on things to assure he won't miss the excitement that will happen involving that particular item.
This mattress means something to Cooper each time he sees it. These days he associates this mattress with company. He used to see it as, 'this is where we sleep tonight', because it had been our bed when we traveled during the summer. We would use it sometimes when we slept at someone's house. I have to laugh and wonder what he's really thinking when I pull this out. Look at his face.
All that happy jumping up and down must have put a hole in it!!! lol It was great seeing you this weekend!
