Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Cooper's Visit to My Classroom

One day I had Jesse drop Cooper off to me at school for the last half hour of the day.  Cooper got to meet my students and the other teachers I work with.

He learned from his visit, which is something I always hope for him.  I like to introduce him to different situations so I can challenge him to tolerate and not be afraid of things that are different than he's used to.

(Blurred to respect the privacy of my student)
At first he wasn't really in his comfort zone.  My students are big, noisy and a little unpredictable.  Cooper learned to tolerate being touched by one of my VERY excited students.  The boy laughed loud with his deep voice.  It sounded scary, so Cooper wasn't sure what to do.   I was thrilled he was able to trust me and he did as I said.  In only a few minutes he was fine and completely unafraid.  I LOVE when things turn out that way.

I was so busy making sure he behaved himself that I didn't take many pictures.  I couldn't resist getting pictures of him hanging out on our Lead Teacher's lap.  He acted like this was HIS SEAT and he was happy to stay there.

He was a perfect boy as you can well imagine.
