Cooper doesn't really like treats that most dogs like. We always try new things with him to see if we can find something he will like. We got him a Pig's Ear a long time ago. I think he might have licked it twice. Then it stayed in his toy box for a long time before we went away for the summer. Then it was put in storage for six months.
We found that Pigs Ear when we were combining the last of the stuff from two storage units into one. Cooper saw it when we had tossed it toward the trash. It was on the ground so he smelled it and didn't really care about it. It was moldy, which is why we decided it was time to throw it away.
As with many things that belong to Cooper, if you want to throw it away, DON'T let him see you do it! If you do... he won't let you rest until you help him get it back.
