Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

BFD Ride with Lisa and Buffy

Lisa and Buffy came from Maine to spend the weekend with us.  One of the local fire departments had a benefit ride so we decided to go to that with a few of Cooper's other Aunties who hadn't met Lisa or Buffy yet.

We had a great time!  Buffy barked non stop until we got up to her desired speed.  Anything slower wasn't good enough.  We got to ride close to one another for most of the ride.  What fun to have another poochie passenger along for the ride.

At the end of the ride we were at the fire station where they had a cookout with plenty of food.  Buffy and Cooper got their share too.  They also had their pictures taken in a wooden cut out of a fireman.  How fun that was!  People either thought we were 'crazy' or 'cute'.  Either way, I had fun and the dogs were so funny.

Inside there was a bar and some tables.  There was a fire engine built into the wall that we took another opportunity to take pictures of us with the dogs.

THEN at the bar we were taking their pictures on the bar stools  when the bar tender put two cans of beer up behind them to prop our picture for us.  They never drank a drop, I swear!
