We got on the road again. This time we traveled route 101 and planned to travel until we saw some REALLY BIG TREES. We were determined to see the Red Wood trees.
We stopped at a little abandoned house that caught Jesse's eye. Cooper got to pee. While he was walking around he picked up burrs in his hair that we had to pick out before they made it too deeply into his hair that they wouldn't be able to work out. He hates when we pick at him like that, but there is no arguing when it comes to having to deal with burrs. They have to be removed.
We finally did make it to the trees.
The road was called "The Avenue Of The Giants". Jesse wasn't kidding about the size of these trees. They were amazing!
A man we met there took pictures of us standing inside a tree.
Cooper got to get on a fallen tree and we took our pictures with him on that big log.
Here are the roots of that tree he was on. Amazing!!!
