Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Blue Knights MA Chapter 1 - Annual Toy Run

On Sunday, November 6th, Cooper and I went on a HUGE toy run.  We have done this ride twice before. What a great ride.  VERY well organized every time.  The motorcycle police block all the intersections to allow all 400 or so bikes to get through safely without getting split up.  What a mess things would be without them.

A spectator on the side of the road took some GREAT video of us.  Cooper and I can be seen 2 minutes and 41 seconds into this video. We had a great time.  Our group South Shore Women On Wheels won the trophy for the largest number of members in attendance.  This is the second time we have won that too.

My daughter Shannon and her boyfriend David came too.  They won HUNDREDS of dollars in raffle prizes.  They were the luckiest people in the place.  I couldn't believe it.

Cooper's picture was taken a lot of times.  What else is new, right?  So all in all it was a terrific day.  The weather was beautiful, though chilly in the morning.  We had a great time and Cooper got to meet another dog, though I didn't get a picture.  Oh well.  Next time I will.
