Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

July 3 - Part 1 - Antique Wagon

We were up earlier than I wanted to be, but had the chance to write and get caught up on much of my work.  We left the door open so Cooper could watch Jesse working on his bike.  Dogs came by.  Some dogs just came to smell him while others lunged at him and pulled at their leashes.  Either way, Cooper just stayed in our door way watching it all go by.

Cooper seemed content to hang out.  He seemed to expect us to act like we were going to move on, but was very calm about just hanging out.  He's definitely learning to go with the flow a lot better.

Once we did get going, we had to stop before too long.  Jesse was really tired, so we stopped at a trading post kind of souvenir place.  It looked rustic and appealing.  If it hadn't been so hot I would have walked around some more, but it was too much for me.  I stayed in the shade where I actually saw a lizard of some sort run in front of me.  Very cool looking little guy just eager to get the heck away from me.  I got a great picture of Cooper under an antique old time wagon that I loved!  If I could have packed it on my bike I might have bought it to bring it home.
