Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

June 26 - Met some GREAT people!

We woke up early, happy to see the sun was going to shine today.  We started putting things out on picnic tables to dry from the rain the night before.  Cooper was happy to be up and outside, but the ground was still really wet.  There was no place good to lay down.

The only dry seat in the house!

We had plenty of visitors that wanted to see the cute dog with the blue hair.  A man named Dan came by to offer some advice about Jesse's bike trouble.  Then his two grand daughters, Olivia and Dance came over. They visited with Cooper, sat on my bike, talked with me, asked questions about Cooper.  They were very cute.

By the time we got everything dry and packed back on the bike we only had about 4 hours to ride.  We don't like to ride after dusk because that's when the deer come out.

We had a good ride, and met more good folks. Local bikers we met at a gas station helped us find a motel for the night.  Too much time spent is spent packing and unpacking our camping gear when we should be riding.   We have some riding to make up.
