Check out the Blog Archives to read about our cross country motorcycle road trip from MA to CA in the summer of 2011. During that trip we attended the Annual 2011 National Women On Wheels® Ride-In in San Jose CA. Then we just rode. We traveled over 11,000 motorcycle miles in what ever direction we wanted to go for 61 days. We visited friends and family, saw the country, met some amazing people. We made memories we'll never forget. These memories are what THIS BLOG is made of! That was only the beginning. We've been traveling and riding and blogging every since then. Enjoy our stories while we make MORE memories worthy of posting here for your enjoyment.

Celebrating Logan's 7th Birthday!

When I got Cooper, Logan was 2 1/2 years old and hardly knew what to do with a dog.  Cooper was fine with meeting Logan.  He was becoming accustomed to being plopped in someone's lap.  He would just lay down with or sniff his new friend.

The day Logan and Cooper met
Logan liked looking at Cooper but wasn't sure how to hold or touch him.  It was a fun teaching experience for me and my daughter to see Logan discover this fuzzy white creature.  He put his hand out to touch Cooper, and Cooper tried to smell his hand, so Logan pulled back.  With some encouragement, Logan finally did touch Cooper.  Before too long we were able to put Cooper in Logan's lap and get a picture.

Logan at 3 years old with a little stuffed dog that looks like Cooper.
He named it Baby Cooper. He still has it.
Logan is still learning how to interact with Cooper.  They are very cute together.  Logan doesn't live with a dog, so his discovery is always rather new.  They have played in the kiddie pool together, played fetch, had a tug of war, raced and played keep-away, among many other dog vs child games.  It's so much fun to see them grow up together.  I get to show Logan how to play something new with Cooper every time they visit.

Logan (4 years old I think) is wearing my motorcycle jacket.
Cooper thinks they are going to go for a ride.
He doesn't care who's driving,
he's just waiting for someone to say 'the word'.
This is Logan and Cooper last summer.
Logan was 6 years old.

They love playing in the kiddie pool together.
Cooper is always the first one in the water.

Logan turns 7 years old today!  We had a cookout and a little family celebration at my house yesterday.  See for yourself how much Logan and Cooper have grown.  I can't believe how BIG Logan has gotten!  He's so handsome and I LOVE his hugs!  He gives me a big hug every time I see him.

We needed to get a good picture of Lucas and Kyra for Logan's Birthday Blog Entry.  Here they are!  Logan is a wonderful big brother to his 1 and 2 year old sister and brother.  I had so much fun with them yesterday.  Being a Grammy is WAY more fun that being a Mom.
